I think the tribe with the tail was Wyvern, even though that is its body, it looks like a tail
and the Winged tribe is Supreme, hence the wings it has in phase two (that disappear as soon as you get back to gameplay)
I imagine that tail tribe would we merfolk-like water people, since Sage mentions that the legs fused into a tail

I’m glad you edited Kishimoto was the one who actually said The End takes the form of what each person believes death to look like. But you didn’t mention that he explained that The End is a moon because the moon has been used by people as a symbol of death in mythology and fiction many times as it’s the counterpart to the sun which commonly depicts life.

45:42 To reach that island, from what I know, is that you perform the Hit and Run glitch on the tower with the ribcage enemy. It is a bit tedious, but it is manageable.
On that island, there's not much except a spring. Touching that spring will send you to the hoops and back to the "shoeprint isle" with the ramp.

26:14 As a brazillian, I can say that the localization is very good. Personally I liked how they handled many terms related to the franchise, such as the Chaos Emeralds (called Esmeraldas Chaos). They could've translated "Chaos" as "Caos", but it would probably take a meaning of something that brings only disaster. Instead it was treated as a specific name. Same goes for Rings (not being called Anéis or Argolas), Egg Memos being called "Anotações do Egg", etc.
28:28 actually the English script by Ian Flynn IS the original script of the game and all the game cutscenes are lip synched to it, the japanese script is infamous in the japanese comunitu for how much it changes the original meaning of the story
After watching that premiere this video was just PEAK and I enjoyed it! I love every single unused Sonic Frontiers content in this video. You should do more of these videos in the future.

27:14 In Greek mythology, Chaos was a neverending void and darkness (an eternal "fall" of sorts) that predated the creation of the Gods. After Chaos, came Gaia (the Earth) and Uranus (the Sky). They had many children, which were the titans; the most important one was Cronos (Later known to represent the Time, since its... birth circumstances... led to the creation of the space between the sky and the earth, and thus time as part of this space). So Frontiers locations relate a lot to the Greek Cosmogony.

One thing worth mentoning is that he was one of the co-writers on the album "Loveless I" by Loveless which was produced by Julian Comeau and mastered by Tyler Smyth. Comeau was one of the co-writers of Undefeatable, Break Through It All and Find Your Flame and did back vocals for said songs. And Tyler Smyth... Infinite, Green Light Ride remix, Frozen Junkyard, Thunder Deck and titan themes in Frontiers except original I'm Here. Thank him for bringing heavier sound to the Sonic discography.

No, he's not a lore master with how many errors Encyclo-speed-ia has and how much it focuses on Wetsern non-game Sonic content yet ignores Japanese non-game content.

4. Sonic Adventure
Iizuka pretty much spoiled what Frontiers is by hoping it being new SA1 because Frontiers is the same story in some way. The ancient civilization being wiped out for flying too close to the sun, the final boss is the "sun" and the main characters in both games are Sonic, Tails, Amy, Eggman, Big (lol) and Eggman's creation with identity crisis. There also are some similar plot bits in both games. One of my favorites is Knuckles' resolution in JP script because it's basically the same thing from SA1 but reversed.
5. Sticks
See Sonic Comic by Eitaro Toyoda. They were released to celebrate Sonic's 25th anniversary and some of them feature Sticks.
6. Death Egg Robot
Team Sonic Racing was developed by Sumo Digital with Sonic Team's supervision and Flynn isn't related neither to TSR nor Speed Simulator. So it's not Flynn "bridging the gap between Frontiers and Forces" but Sonic Team.
7. Greek names
One thing I like about Kronos Island is that Kronos is considered as a patron of the harvest and the island named after him is the most green one. And Chaos in Greek mythology is the void preceding the creation of the universe or cosmos, meanwhile Chaos Island has active volcanos and volcanos can form islands so they precede the creation of the land. And about 27:17. No, Asura is a term from hinduism.

9. The End's true form
What Kishimoto actually said is that The End's appearance is based on the person's vision of death. It's still a weird way to explain The End being a moon because moon is related to death in terms of symbolism but mostly in the context of the cycles. Also you play as Sage so it's what death is to her, ask her.

I haven't had a chance to check the comments, so sorry if someone already pointed this out, but Chaos Island does have a connection to Greek Myth, though not a god named Chaos. In Hesiod's Theogony, an acccount of the Greek creation story, the world started out with a concept/god/essense named Chaos, whom all other gods were eventually descendant from. Chaos does not really appear beyond that in Greek Myth, but it is a possible connection.

Probably already explained by other people, but to trigger that attack, you just have to do the same thing for Wyvern's laser attack, continuously deal damage and parry all of his attacks without using Grand Slam
47:50 wyvern is the tail one because it doesnt have legs, while supreme is the wings one because you can see them in phase 2.
I think the dialogue referencing the other tribes of the Ancients also ties into Chaos's other forms in SA1. Powerful bodies could tie into Chaos 2, a Knuckles exclusive fight. The ones that evolved tails to live in the ocean sounds reminiscent of Chaos 4, who takes on a Fish-like appearance. the one that walks on all fours ties back to Chaos 6, which walked on 4 legs. The Intelligent ones would then be Chaos 0, as that's the only tribe that survived to escape to earth, and the ones that eventually evolved into chao, which Chaos comes from. Would be interesting to learn if there was a Perfect Chaos equivalent, but probably not.
15:55 additional context for the Korone (Pronounced Ko-ro-ne, not Kor-own): Inugami Korone of Hololive Production is one of Sega Japan's Sonic ambassadors, having not only the in-game collab DLC, but also her own Live2D model based on Sonic. The Koco models are how she illustrated her fanbase, known as Koronesuki

37:21 The best way to get this Giganto attack is to get a chain of attacks for a long period of time. The best way to get the attack to happen is by doing a basic combo with phantom rush and using the Sonic Boom. It also works with Supreme's fight too

Imagining how I'd want Frontiers changed besides accessibility and difficulty adjustments...
Have an option to have the Memory Token/Koco Icons on the Map to appear at the START of the platforming section, not the Last! Having to backtrack to find that start really ruins the flow state.
Make Giganto a little bit faster, and also give her a jumping Smash Sonic Down Air Attack. This is a giant we're fighting, not a sloth, nor a stationary wall!
Give Wyvern staggering damage. It'd be so cool if you could wail on him into the mountain side.
Promise that the underground waterway on Ares Island and the sulfur pools on Khaos Island will inspire levels in future Sonic Games. Those two places really stood out to me.
Make Rhea Island a dead forest, depending on how many towers you have left. It's thematically appropriate.
Make Ouranos Island fog 24/7. Lots of fog! It can't be in the sky like Khaos Island, but it can emulate the look!
Give Supreme those attacks back. I'd like it to be mapped to the button, but it looks so cool!
Change the Post-Credits ending of the Base Story. Instead of Final Horizons being a separate timeline, combine the two with the creation of a single cutscene;
Instead of Sonic and Co leaving(save that for Final Horizon's Ending) and Eggman reviving Sage, there's instead a bunch of red and blue glitches in a dark foreground. Sage's voice is heard.
"Self-Termination resulted in Father's pain. Simulation Rejected."
Base Game Ouranos is a simulation, and seeing her own death prompted Sage to go the Final Horizon route instead.

i would really like them to consider using the world ship as an area for the sequel of the game as a continuation kind of thing if we do ever get one sequel, having the word ship be a big role in getting more lore about the Ancients and Chaos Emeralds
I have a huge stretch when it comes to the take on the ancient world ship. What if the place where Sonic begins his open world journey, the introduction in Kronos Island, was never meant to be the introductory place at all? And instead of it being the introduction to the open world, it was meant to be a place to teleport to the ancient world ship?
It would probably explain why the cutscene looks so weird, with the textures and the rain looking very dated, and would also explain why there’s a significant amount of detail on the top of the hills where you begin the open world. Things like decorated stones that resemble the shrine locations in the open world, and even walls to run on. It could be possible that, just like the red teleporters in Sky Sanctuary, there was meant to be a device or shrine that would teleport you from there to the ancient worldship. Again, it’s a huge stretch but I think it would be interesting nonetheless.

On the topic of the rare Giganto attack, the way I always manage to get it is simply not doing Grand Slam the first two times Giganto does the spin attack.
If you just keep attacking, the third parry attack will be the one where Giganto lunges at Sonic in the fixed camera angle.
As far as I'm concerned, this and the other way mentioned in the video are the only ways to see that attack.

The voice lines talking about the Ancients' World Ship also have Sage and Sonic talking about getting the 'last' chaos emerald there too. In the final game, it's bizarre that Eggman simply hands Sonic the last emerald on Ouronos, getting it off-screen. Perhaps visiting the World Ship was the intended means of getting the last chaos emerald early in development, before Ouronos was made the final island and they just decided to have Eggman hand it to you?
Oh that's a great point... In the final horizon, sage also mentions that the giant pyramid thing on ouranos island is a terminal that transported ancients to their ships. I wonder if that's how you got there before
I think it would be cool if Super Sonic Cyber led to the Super Sonic in the fleet Way comics. The next time Sonic goes Super, it ends with him trying to kill his own allies and the goal is to bring him back.
6:55 fun fact the first time you do fishing, its not randomized. all the fish required for 100% will be fished up in a specific order. after you 100% the fishing, it will then be randomized lol

Actually, the ZAP symbol did have a meaning in one of those side conversation with Sage if the player it's playing as Amy

Fun fact: as far as i know sonic frontiers is not the first game with the homing dash, I think the first game to have that isn't even a sonic game (it is sonic inspired though), i think it was spark the electric jester 3, but there it's called the magnet dash & before it was mentioned in the frontiers speed strats, it was fandubbed as the magnet dash, which is / was called in spark 3

My only complaint is that they could've chosen some words more carefully for Sage, as she seems a bit more "informal" in the localization (she doesn't use outright slangs, but some words could've been translated to more "formal" synonyms).

They are the first god to ever exist in the universe, and is the common ancestor of all deities in the greek pantheon, as they created the primordial gods such as Gaia, Uranus and Tartarus, the latter of which they had together Nyx, the night godess. Chaos' appearances are limited to the creation myth, that's why most people don't know about them.

@@SFproductions1 I'm not against them dropping the Sonic obsession/stalker angle, but she acts like she's either depressed or drugged up. She should be the heart of the group and the one willing to forgive and extend a hand, like how her classic self is portrayed.
Compared to Tails and Knuckles who act like their usual selves, but with their doubts coming to the surface. They just really dropped the ball when it came to her.
