Whaler runs nice at cruising speed with that 40 Merc repower. How does your Whaler handle all the extra engine weight? Does it seem/feel heavy back there, or is it ok? Thanks for any feedback. Needing to repower mine as well.
What boat ramp do you use? Astor Boat ramp? If so how long is the ride to the springs? I live in Mount Dora and just bought a 13ft whaler and we want to take it to some springs this summer. Thanks!

Yes it does, but if your going to carry multiple people, proper throttle control the extra HP worth it

Put in at Salt Springs. Then its like a 10 mile boat ride to Silver Glen.
