  • In this video I'll be changing one of the common Xiaomi M365 issue - failing locking mechanism latch.
    I used 3rd party reinforced latch, made from high strength class aluminum (B95T). I bought it here: bit.ly/2NxWYF9

    The best way to get the pin out is by hammering the new pin that comes with the new latch about half way. Then hammer the old pin back so the new pin pops off. The old pins should still be 1/3 popped off by now. Then use a smaller screw or nail to remove the old pin. Worked best that way. Ive tried nails, screws and they both just bend.

      @Supdogs Před 2 lety +1

      I wish I had read your comment earlier. This method worked the best!
      I wasted 45 minutes trying screw heads and other makeshift tools to take the pin out.
      And contrary to the video, the pin can get removed either way - left or right push

      I have a new pin. The grooves on it are off centre. When you look at the front of the scooter should the new pin have the off centre grooves on the right or left?

    RLY 98,30 PLN (25$) for tiny piece of junk? And it is aluminium. WHY? Just do same part from steel, from scrap yard. It will hold lot more and will be cheaper.
