    I think it’s annoying that he’s judging the dog based on how she looks talking about she’s scary just because he’s never seen any dog like her. She’s well behaved and very smart like they literally said I just think she needs more training and be in a better environment. It’s not her fault she wasn’t trained right before.

      Ikr, i have a boy and a girl mongrel whos like lucky. They only want to stay by my side. They would only snuggle with me and pay no attention/be aggressive to others. I know how others must feel like (ive been scared of dogs before) but the their loyalty and love to me, you can't put a price on it. I have to let them sniff others first then they will get familiar but people dont want that cause theyre scared already. My only concern for dogs like lucky is that when something happens to the lady, nobody will take care of her so she does need to be trained and socialized more for her own sake

      you're talking abt the guy w the glasses right? as sweet and cheerful as that owner is, she needs to understand the sheer strength and intelligence of her dog. Keeping them in an enclosed area without proper training could lead to a lot of problems and that is NOT the dogs fault. Training is needed with ANY dog but especially intelligent ones.

      pinch collars has dull end it shouldn’t hurt the dogs + trainer kang is a professional dog trainer

    • @KK-111
      @KK-111 Před měsícem

      @@hudaizzati12 Any random person. with no understanding of animal behavioralism or the latest research on the most effective training techniques of the past 20 yrs, can blindly just pick up a device that hurts dogs...and call themselves a dog trainer. It is up to an educated audience, and educated pet owners to walk away from these types of people, who have no knowledge of what they are doing. In my view, anyone who still uses those punitive devices to dominate, rather than teach- are not trainers- they are just enjoying feeling the 'power' of hurting a smaller being who is unable to defend themselves. A 'pinch' collar, is another name for a prong collar. (They are not 'dull'- if dull collar is needed, then just use a regular flat collar.) Prong collars are comprised of large metal spikes that poke into their flesh if they pull. They're a disgusting human invention; just another to exploit animals. To stop a big dog from pulling, there is a great alternative: a front ring harness, with the leash attachment that sits on the front of the dog's chest....such as a Sensation harness, and many others out there these days. These work immediately, and effectively, in helping a dog stop pulling- without any pain inflicted. The dog pulls forward, and because of the placement of the ring clip on the chest, the dog ends up walking to the side, instead of forward- and it is self-correcting. The dog learns quickly that pulling forward gets them nowhere! :) Front ring harnesses work well for everyone; builds a safe bond between pet and owner; the dog no longer needs to feel afraid and defensive, or waiting for the next horrible thing the human will do.- This is why all positive/humane training techniques and tools build trust, and reduce aggression, and create a happy relationship. Check out Dr. Patricia McConnell's books, as one (of many) positive trainers out there.

    • @reneeroesler9944
      @reneeroesler9944 Před měsícem +4

      No, if used right they are fine. My roommates dog has one cause she's a puller. She hates harnesses and pulls like crazy with a normal collar. It does not hurt her in anyway.

    • @KK-111
      @KK-111 Před měsícem +6

      @@reneeroesler9944 Yeah, keep justifying it... meanwhile your roommate is choosing to harm their dog with metal spikes digging into their neck, so so that they don't have to take 5 minutes to order/invest $15-20 in a front ring harness that will stop pulling instantly without harming her, and that she could use for a lifetime. Harnesses, by the way, are only supposed to be worn during walks, and properly fitted- if the roommate leaves them on her all the time, perhaps that is why she 'hates' them. Sensation harnesses, for example, are the most NON-invasive, minimalistic harnesses out there- I used one on my HUSKY (I adopted her, and she came with this behavior) for years, and it worked beautifully and immediately.

  • @desmeisme

    The discrimination towards lucky is sad. Literally comparing her to the Labrador when I tell you I had a golden retriever when I was younger that was very aggressive and protective, and a pitbull who’s my sweetest baby who was born in my living room 10 years ago, but she’s been attacked and bit in her skull by a dog off leash. She’s been attacked twice actually. She’s still good with some dogs but when walking her I I have to be very careful. Some people let their dogs off leash not understanding their dog may be friendly but others aren’t, and if their dog runs up to mine that could be a bloody and fatal altercation. I try to take her early in morning and later towards night to stay away from other dogs. Every dog is different and has its own background, I know my girl and she’s strong, she’s dragged me before, but I never let go of the leash, it was usually when she’d see a squirrel. She’s 70 lbs, she’s more than half the weight I am. She has a very deep and intimidating bark very scary but she won’t stop licking you once you sit down and let her sniff you a bit . She won’t bark at people out side though. Even though she shows what looks to be aggression sometimes, she’s not aggressive. She’s rough though. Even when she lunges towards other dogs from afar and makes snarling sounds, she doesn’t have that scared or worried vibes, she had an amped up rough play Vibe. I just won’t let her near any unfamiliar dogs now to find out if it’s just play or more than that. She’s a good girl and even though she’s been a victim to attacks and redicule because of being a pitbull doesn’t mean she doesn’t love. She loves me and my mom and her treats, and even our other two small dogs who adore her but she’s hilarious, she looks like the babysitter, but anyway just because a bad looking dog gives wrong stereotypical type of impressions at first doesn’t means she doesn’t deserve love and chances too. I see many breeds like this dog around. Of course I steer clear, but it doesn’t mean I judge them. They’re just dogs

She just needed to establish where she belonged (upstairs) and train her constantly till she understands not be on guard duty 24/7 is better then separating them from the kids! This entire show was cruel and fairly horrifying, re: their ignorance about training dogs. Aversive and punitive techniques have been disproven 20 yrs ago...they CREATE fear-based aggression in dogs, and erode all trust between owner and dog. Anyone who uses aversive/punitive techniques is not to be respected. The prevailing training methods of the past 2 decades is positive/humane training. I wish these people would do a bit of reading and self-education, before posting a video such as this. This poor dog- in a room full of clueless people.

    • @Charsteria
      @Charsteria Před měsícem +6

      @@KK-111 this dog breed specifically was used for hunting, they aren't doing anything wrong and you have to be rough on this breed (not with the intent to harm them of course) it a MUST to let them know that you are the one in charge at all times because if not then like he said, the dog will start to think that it owns you! and it WILL get worse from there, this breed of dog is extremely protective especially in its own home, they cant invite family or friends over out of fear of them being harmed, also I've seen this full episode the other day and this dog has also killed a stray cat before, not to mention the family actully has cats around the dog as well, and you wanna say that they are mistreating this dog and the room is full of idiots?... I understand what your saying but you have to understand that all dog trainers have their own way of training dogs, just because you don't agree with it doesn't mean that it's wrong, this breed of dog isn't meant to be coddled during training especially in a case as serious as this one because she would actually hurt some if the family wasn't watching her close enough.

I would tell the dog to do this or do that and he sensed I had no fear so he listened. Sadly, they gave him away. I still miss the beautiful dog…he looked like this dog 🐕🤍. I pray this dog is doing well and they learned many things from the trainer.

    Also, my pit bull has bit me as well playing with her rope toy, but if she’s in a serious playful mood she can end up biting my leg or arm by accident, but not painful painful Of course it hurt a little bit but it wasn’t aggression. Oh but her nails is my gooosh if she’s jumping on me to play her nails can dig into my skin so bad, but that’s on me for not getting them trimmed sooner

    The spike collar must be banned as in Europe. There is no need for all these gadgets that are harmful to dogs. It can be done with patience, time and good education. I've had pitt bulls and now I got a rottweiler and I've never had to put choke or prod collars on them.

      I also lived in Korea and I would like to point out that many people have large dogs in apartments. In Europe there is a fashion phenomenon for large dogs and the owners of these millions of dogs are also incompetent but that does not prevent that there are strict laws against this kind of collar and governments have introduced laws to own certain dogs to avoid accidents. That's why canine educators exist.

    That muzzle is making me so mad. It's way too small for her. She can't properly regulate her body heat etc.
    So if she has to wear a muzzle, buy her one that actually fits her right.
    So sorry but that's the only thing I could actually focus on while watching that.

    MOST dogs smell private parts because it has the strongest smell same reason they love dirty sock or when they shove there nose in your arm pit but because majority of big dogs are seen as aggressive and smaller dogs are smaller dogs also cannot reach your but to smell your private so even if they wanted to they couldn't my point is private part smelling is NOT A BAD OR AGGRESSIVE THING THAT IS ONLY COMMON IN STRONG BREEDS but i also feel because many of the dogs in asian countries are small or won't grow past ones knee big dog i won't say rare but slightly uncommon, biggest dog i commonly see an asian person own is a samoyed

    At first I thought I would love this video and learn from it. But at no time they told the owner to reward her dog, even saying "good" should have been said each time the dog obeys an order. I was quite surprised and trying to understand all that, but then he told the owner to use a pinch collar and my heart broke. That dog is about to get train with suffer and not with love and that's the worst way to do especially with stressed and possessive dog.

      she said that she was relieved that she DOESN'T have to send her to a shelter, but to be honest here if she had no faith in herself and couldn't properly train the dog then she would be better off going to a shelter and hopefully getting adopted by someone who would actually take the time to work with her.

    Dogo Argentino is one of "ManStoppers" breeds along with Neopolitan Mastiff, Presa Canario, Cane Corso, Kangal Shepherd, etc. Be brutally honest with yourself before owning any of powerful breeds. Ask yourself, how confident would I feel walking a 35kg - 50kg dog in public places, especially where children/elderly are present? Am I 100% certain I'm capable of controlling a 35+kg dog should it suddenly takes off, fights with another dog or attacks a person?
    Note: Most of well known dog trainers do not own these breeds. 😉

    I'm annoyed at how they deal with dogs. Specially the "trainer". Is he even qualified? Why is his assessment of the dog always based on the look, breed and a few encounter? Training is a must.

      before this, they usually show what the problem with the dog is before the consultation. lucky has shredded a cat in front of the son before which was ultimately led to them consulting with the trainer.

      @@KK-111 the trainer, yes. He's done this for years, he's widely famous in South Korea for that role. He even has his own show that showcases different breeds of dogs. If you watched this video without prejudice, he studies the breeds hence why he knows SPECIFICALLY about Dogo Argentino.
      You can't just simply comment "he's not qualified" just because he uses strict methods to specific breeds that ACTUALLY DO need strict methods. That's how dog trainings go.
      And no, the training done here in this video isn't even close to harsh treatment unlike other so-called "trainers".
      I think what is only annoying here are the other hosts esp the old dude wearing orange vest. He's judgmental, but the trainer himself, he knows what he's doing.
