Thank you for the detailed guide I had just got a multi channel map but the process wasn't going as smoothly as I thought I display painted the displacement map in blender then took it through substance etc., when I added the r, b ,g channels in zbrush for the displacement map and applied it my model would get all compressed up. I'm not too sure what the problem was but i might just use the alphas and do the detailing manually, but im not too sure when i went wrong

the same thing happened to me when i tried to apply a texture from an outside program and i figured it out--zbrush was messing up the uvs at some point--it looked like compression but it was really just zbrush flipping all the polys and going all wonky. you have to make sure you have clean uv maps and dont alter the mesh beyond subdividing

Can you do a tutorial, where you render this skin in 3ds Max with V-ray?

why do not use polygroupe to define the area firstly and drag your skin Brushers after that

won't that be confusing and create seems, i feel masking is a better way, except i don't understand what you trying to say

i mean convert all this circles in the image to polygroupes and use projection to projet all this details in the base mesh and sorry for my poor english

@@JeremyBoucherEsq Yeah, was showing the same for me. Also did a google search with the keywords just to check if it has been uploaded on another website to no avail. Guess I'll just get textures from those free 3d head scans
