I got a new job and on the first day of work which was yesterday, a brand new laptop was given to me. I almost fell into depression but then I encouraged myself and came to CZcams.

I know this video is 5 yrs old but it has been an enormous help for me. I'm running two companies in two states and I am responsible for creating and submitting policies and documents to different state and federal departments...I am clueless how to start a fresh draft but after watching this video I think I can do it. I am a 70 year old retired nurse who loves working on the computer and with my daughters help have learned a lot of basics over the years but there is so much more I would like to be able to do. My daughter works full time and has 3 kids so I don't want to ask her to take the time to teach me so I am here to learn through these videos. I am starting a part time job as an administrative assistant next week and this will enable me to do more at my job. Thank you so much for the wealth of information that you make available.

This is a very clear, well illustrated video on basics to Word: creating the document, entering text, a bit about styles, introduction to working with images, adding shapes and text boxes, saving and printing. I have worked with Word for a long time and was pleased to pick up a couple of points myself. I recommend this to new users and look forward to more tutorials.

Thank you for the excellent tutorial. I especially liked the ability to see the ribbon. Most tutorials have made the ribbon so light it is difficult to see and repeat. Also, I appreciate your concise manner of presentation.

Just found your channel and I agree with most of the comments you are easy to listen to and clear with your instructions. I am a senior and never used computers before so I find watching your video is really helpful, I have Windows 10 so my screens look a little different from yours but I am going to work on it. Since I see a lot of questions below could I suggest a Qand A video with the most asked questions? I am trying to close the space between rows and so that would be my question lol but now will watch more of your videos to catch up as have Grandchildren living with me now and need to upgrade my skills to help with homeschooling. I knew ms word here and there and thanks for this tutorial some of which I had only knew this time. I suggest for the next tutorial that you put shortcut keys like ctrl + B for Bold etc but I understand that because it's only for beginners and btw, I hover over your playlists and will watch your ms office tutorials :D

Thank you so much for this, I have just had a promotion and moved into an office setting and although I can find my way around a computer and email ok, I have had zero experience with Word of any description. A brand new notebook came with the job, but all the other office staff have older Word programmes ,so I have been feeling a bit bewildered. This has helped me so much with the basics now I feel a lot more confident. Thanks once again and I will subscribe.

Microsoft Word is used as a modern way of writing letters and other documents on the computer, instead of the old pen and paper system. I'm a head teacher and don't know the different things to do in Microsoft word. the video explained the basic parts and function its toolbar and different ways and creating effective, creative and presentable papers. All I know in my existing life are typing, saving documents, pasting articles, words, photo and make a design for my documents. This video was very informative and clearly understand how to do and what to do using MS word.
Nowadays, in this pandemic electronic are useful not for me as a head teacher but also to the students.
