Thank you for this detailed video! My babygirl is mixed and wanted some twists with added purple hair, and as her mama I wanted to make sure I could make it happen for her. This has helped so much that I feel confident enough to do her hair!

I’m 12 and my mom thought she was imagining when she saw me box braiding my own head 😂
Keep it up❤
You go girl 💜😆
atimxo clownery how did u learn an keep it up
I was around your age when I started doing my own hair 💇 in cornrows, braids & crochet in the mid to late 90's....keep it up ☝
You're going to be great!

I’ve been braiding since I was in first grade I’m now 15 n still braiding I jus want to do sumn different now , my aunt wants me to do this to her hair so here I am lol I hope this works
Did it turn out pretty?
My sis graduates Friday and the lady that was supposed to do her twists just tested positive for covid...so my sis of course if upset, so I told her I would attempt to do her hair for her. With this video I should be able to do it! Thank you for the simple step by step instructions! Y'all wish me luck!!!😉
I did twists on natural hair today at the salon and literally the twisting both sides before beginning the whole twists is what holds it up. Thank you for the thumb in between tip! Really helpful and well explained. 2 seconds in I subscribed lol
I'm 12 and I can do feed in braids, knotted braids, crotchet, and more but I'm struggling to braid faster and tighter ANY TIPS? I NEEDDD HELP because I want to help my mom with money issues
Dest Juss Like Dat I just wanna say, ur so sweet and ur gonna go far x
practicing is the keyword!
Practice makes perfect. I started out and doing my own hair would take days. Now I've gotten it down to 8 hours! Keep practicing, you'll learn what hand movements work for you. Make sure to stretch your hands too so they down cramp and you can go faster
girl same i’m 13 and now starting to find a passion for doing hair. it just came to me so easy. little tips o can give you is when your braiding don’t put too much hair grease because it can become hard to grip and then make sure when your braiding gripping everything. and i used to struggle with braiding faster too cuz i used to get knots in the braid. but you go girl 🤍
I started around your age and while I could do all kinds of braids, speed was a problem for me too. What I did was I would time myself. I would see how long it takes me to do a style or even a section of hair and I would practice working faster to beat that time. In regards to tightness, that just comes with time and hand strength. It’s so nice to see that you’re doing what you can to help your family and I can tell you have passion. Just keep working hard and you’ll go far 💛
WOW - thank you so much for this! I have been doing my twists wrong for years. I always hated the look of having to braid partway. They are so much neater and tighter now!
My twists always end up with a crinkle somewhere 🤦🏽♀️
Mine would too and I realized I was over twisting somewhere
Dip in hot water.
Did you try to dip in hot water & put foam lotion
Same😅
Thank you so so much for this video!! I've been struggling with rope twists for years 😩 I've FINALLY cracked it with your help! Thank you! God bless! ☺️
You're such a good teacher who explains so well. Thank you
U helped me do my braids!! They are so cute! Took days tho
Swann Smith niceee!!!
Doesn't matter how long... Keep practicing and you will become faster soon. Am just starting to learn today through the video...
@@GlambyMerry Are you left-handed?
These twists are the definition of perfection!!!

Those look really good and you explained very well!

How do you know how much braiding hair to grab for each twist? I’m following this tutorial to attempt to do my hair tomorrow pretty much the exact same way as in this video 🤗
These look so neat and natural. Great job.
You always have great videos. Thanks for sharing what type of hair you use. I hope you do a video strictly on the best hair to use for different styles.
I have learnt so much from you thanks for share these awesome videos with us thanks alot🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗btw it's very very neat love it
This method is so dope . I was twisting the opposite way . I just tried it on myself and it works like a charm . Thank you so much
I wish you wouldve told her to swing them one time😩😅 Youre so gifted & patient with those hands🙌🏾
It's the neatness for me! They are perfect! Absolutely Beautiful! I see why celebrities book with her. Her work is 🔥!
I absolutely loved it. Your work is very neat and informative. I like how you took your time to demonstrate what you were doing and the details helped as well. I am going to do some micro rope twists on my hair so your video is one that will help me to achieve this look. 💖💖💓💔💗💕💕😍😍
You made it so easy to learn 😍 thanks for the videos!!

Same here! My hair is getting here tomorrow and I can't wait to try this for the first time. I hope yours turned out amazing!
I like the way u cut it
I kind of have the twist part, buuut the twist always loosen up😬🙄 (like immediately after twisting)
*sigh*
Waaw I love this
When I first started out I did the same thing bc I was forgetting to twist the weave before adding it to hair. I hope you catch on it's really easy 😊
1984Cynt I will try this , thanks !!
Twist weave before you start and twist both strands in opposite directions all the way down. Just make sure your tension is tight.
Funtastic Kidz okay , ty 💕
Thank you for all the details and tips !!youre amazing this my next look after my box braids get old 😍❤️
Like how you do your twists so there not going slack or loosening as you work your way down to the ends.💥☺
Wow that looks nice congratulations on 100,000 subscribers that is a blessing
I love how you stayed consistent with your technique through out this whole video! You made me very at ease with trying this new style . my only question is about how long does it last and how do you keep these twist From later coming undone?
She did mention that to secure she puts the knots at the end and then dips in the hot water to secure
Thank you for this very deta video. You're very well spoken, your instru are clear, detailed and straight to the point, you explain the technique well as you braid which makes this so easy to learn & understand. Planning to plait my daughters hair tomorrow. Will come back witj an updatw
You are so good at explaining the method. Thank you💖

hey, i appreciated this video! it was very helpful in showing and explaining the process.
Very beautiful! Do you recommend using braiding hair vs Marley hair for these twist? I’m new at twist and I’ve found Marley hair to be easier to grip. The braiding hair is so slick. Thanks!
i have been braiding since kindergarten and every year i successfully accomplish a new hairstyle rhis year i accomplished sew ins, lace fronts , and more rhings like that ! and my first time trying feed ins and i did so good my first tine

I JUST LOVE YOUR INTRO VIDEO ❣️❣️❣️🌹🌹🌹
I gave up until I seen your video now I’m doing my own twist with no problem this video was very helpful
If you need the same braid, I can give it to you for free
Thanks for teaching, now I get it!🤗
very helpful. I usually start it like a box braid method and then twist after 1/2"
Beautiful job!
Very nice and neat. But my question is , are you twisting with both hands or just one?
These things harder than box braids
Princess Yonna easier lol
I’m an 15 year old turning 16 oct 20th I do hair and these are easier just takes a little longer
Lol no lie they do look hard but cuteee
Góddėśš Rēįgñś hey so when you do your twist how do you keep the ends from unraveling ?
Wow beautiful, just learnt some new skill
Now those are what you call REAL TWIST, Damn I need my hair done by YOU!
@GlamByMerry hey I do the same technique but once im done with the braid the twist kind of unravels and scrunches up y is that??? Thanks for your time
Do you have any tutorials on how to ombre twists with out it pre-bought ombre hair? Thank you
This was a very helpful video thanks 💓
I love using xpresion for my box braids i used but my friend wants senegalese twists so ill look into queen b :)
Hey hun, I love ❤️ your twists....
Do you mind telling what hair products you used for this style?
Everyone has their different ways of doing their twists. "Rope twist" is how some people describe the Senegalese or micro twist. There's no difference. If you want to start your twist from the beginning or braid it before starting the twist, it is your own style, and doesn't mean that one is different. Rope twist is Senegalese or micro twist.
I'm using this video to twist my hair for the first time , hope this works 😁😊
Doing mine for the first time tonight!
Muito Linda, eu tava a procura de um vidro assim para eu aprender essa técnica. Muito obrigada por compartilhar. Deus te proteja.
Maaam I love this
I wonder how it compares to Spectra EZ Braid and RUWA prestretched hair. I see those being the top contenders for best prestretched hair. I love the look of expressions reg hair but it tangles, hurts my fingers and didn’t come prestretched which lead me to Spectra.
SLAYLORD FOCKER yeah I’m wondering the same
I have like 8 packs of spectra idk if it’ll be good for these twists
Yes, I have done these with Spetra.. works very well
I hate spectra. It does not hot water set
Gorgeous!
Very beautiful!!!
Imma try these this week
I love your vedio, very detailed!
Wow,I like this😍😍😍😍
Love this video thank u
Respect hun 🆔 watch you're brading videos 4 hours you're truly gifted very professional 💯🇬🇺💞💯🇬🇺
Yoh this twist is just fine☺☺ but in this quarantine how can we plate
Ourselves but in life I learnt that we should work hard so that u should feel like life has no wonder bit god is the wonder of all of us
