Havik’s neutral 3 being faster will def help with his corner combos. That’s how you get the most damage but imo the timing was a bit strict, especially online.

FINALLY! Janet’s damage has been nerfed twice but now Li Mei can detonate her lanterns and they hit mid and she has a gap taken out of her 4312 string so she has better pressure and staggers? They remembered Sub FINALLY and Li Mei actually gets buffs?! Let’s see if anyone else will play her besides Rewind and Sinister Ruler 😂

Love Sonya as a cameo for my Scorpion.
Amazing patch overall. The Reptile buffs are excellent, and it's not just Sonya that has become an even better Kameo for Reptile, but now both Scorpion and Motaro have become better Kameos, with the buffs for B2 and S24/F24 both Motaro and Scorpion can now give Reptile better overhead/low 50/50's. Acid Spit also got great buffs for Zoning strategies, if you pair Reptile with Zoning Kameo like Sektor (like I do) or Sonya who just got buffed also, now the Acid Spit buffs make Reptile's Zoning even better.
Immediate rolling my eyes at NRS even BEFORE listening to what the patch is.
The only thing that I want is that they fix sub zero damage

His damage is bad because his jail is so good, against the right sub zero player you cant make a mistake at all
@@nb2148 ALL his strings have gaps and are slow. Sikander is one of the best Subzero players, and he loses to shit he should never have just because of that.
@@andrueis I don't think that's going to do to much. He still has very low damage from what I've seen.

For true havik mains this is a big step up. So happy about the front kick. And the 14 combo is safe now? Its like they want you to use mavado.

His fully charged b2 now has more recovery on hit 2, so you can do the same combos you'd do from a forceball. Instead of just being able to do a f23 > f32, you can do f23 >f2 forceball, jump 233 db4.

peacemaker has done what he has meant to do he has scraficed himself for peace
me and my friend used to refer to pointless buffs/minor irrelevant nerfs as 'placebo adjustments'. In this case, the non charged overhead change is cool, the spitballs are borderline pointless/useless and the rest are welcome, but probably not enough. But if we scream buffs, people will argue we had so many. Still liked the falling fangs being safe idea but we've had so many buffs already :3
Overall a good patch but JC needs to be nerfed harder. Make his damage scaling worse, make a few strings punishable and make shadow dash recover slower
Kham needs more nerfs too ofc, glaive needs to not come back at all and make ball roll slower

Havik’s s3 it best used as a wiff punish tool but it can be inconsistent with hit confirming into combos, it is -2 and puts Havik right where he wants to be fighting… but it can be ducked and full combo punished if you wiff because the recovery is so long. I’m going to make a petition that his F1 string should be a mid. Keep it +1 on block, legit look at the rest of the cast and tell me that wouldn’t be fair.

Reptile is just not up to par with the high tiers. Some characters seem like they are missing moves/ strings. Compare cage to nitara and reptile, scorpion. Scorpion looks like he’s missing at least two special moves 😂😂

I love the nerfs to PM but like holy shit they made force field actually useless. It takes so long to activate then lasts like 1 second
sad to see characters nerf to the point where its obvious the character is dead and will no longer be played, Balance yes but killing a character that's not hype for the game in my opinion

This patch was pretty good honestly. Great changes. Peacemaker got slightly overnerfed, and I wish they buffed more characters to a heavier degree and in more unique ways (more buffing mid/low tier and less nerfing high tier) but overall good patch.
Buff reiko...make his command grab 7 frames start up, and make his overhead +1 on block...and his down 4 should have even more range

Reptile can work with almost every Kameo in the game. Sonya just got higher in the options list.
Cool that Reptile has been a real focus for love, but why tf will they not TRULY help Nitara, SZ, Havoc? And as for Kameos, why tf do they not nerf Khamelion??? Khamelion I think is easily the largest issue with the meta now that PM and Johnny have been nerfed. We need to see how PM and Johnny perform now (doubt Johnny is gonna struggle lets be real), but Khamelion is so obnoxiously strong, and the other Kameos need some love if Khamelion is gonna be untouched.

WTH do they keep buffing reptile, I don’t understand. He was already a solid character, I don’t think anything should have changed. Now I have I deal with a raw OH that’s safe after dealing with the repetitive staggered low starter that I can’t stand.
Lei Mei needs a buff to her Fatal blow. You can’t combo it into any of her combos. It’s too slow and doesn’t combo well.
