ANZAC DAY (25 APRIL) is a national war remembrance day commemorated in both Australia and New Zealand. In today's 'Living History' video, Jimmy talks about Flight Sergeant James Gordon, of the Royal New Zealand Air Force who served in WW2 (with the British Royal Air Force) flying Wellington bombers. He lost his life in Libya in 1942.
Many years later Jamie Gordon's mother regularly used to babysit a young Jamie Bonar in Mt Eden, Auckland.
