La Palma Timelapse Roque de los Muchachos Nature and Night Sky Milky Way HD

- Calm down and relax your mind for a short break with this Timelapse clips from the amazing Nature and really dark Night Sky of La Palma.
Most of the clips were shot on the highest mountain of La Palma Roque de los Muchachos, where also many Obervatorys are located because the night sky there has very good conditions (often above the clouds, good seeing, low light pollution...)
I never saw the milky way so clear by visual before as now on La Palma, definitely a trip worth!
The bright "Star" right of the Milky Way is the Planet Jupiter, the red bright "Star" left of the Milky Way is the Planet Mars.
There is also Saturn visible in the center of the milky way on the top of the constellation Sagittarius, but it's more difficult to identify him.

Wunderschönes Video. Auch die Musikauswahl gefällt.
Super Video. War vor 3 Wochen auf La Palma mit 25x100er Bino und 'ner Nikon P900.
So Aufnahmen wie du hier hast, hätte ich mir auch gewünscht, aber dafür fehlt noch das Equipment und natürlich auch die Erfahrung.
Nächstes Jahr im März/April geht's wieder dahin. Kanns kaum erwarten, ist einfach eine tolle Insel!
Hi Mindfl0w, so viel Equipment ist dafür gar nicht Nötig, Stativ Kamera mit Linse und Programmierbarer Fernauslöser that's it.
Wünsche dir demfall gutes gelingen beim kommenden Trip, hast ja noch Zeit dich einzulesen und ein paar Tests in heimischen Gefilden zu machen.
Stimmt schon, aber meine Nikon ist für so Aufnahmen leider weniger gut geeignet. Ist schon 'ne gute Allround-Cam und der 83x optische Zoom ist auch super... aber wenn ich Zeitrafferaufnahmen machen möchte, dann geht das maximal 10-12 Sekunden (der fertige Clip meine ich). Klar könnte ich auch die ganze Zeit Einzelaufnahmen machen und die später am PC zu einem Video zusammenfügen. Dafür ist die Kamera aber leider nicht gebaut. (oder ich bin zu doof :P )
Leider ist auch Langzeitbelichtung damit nicht möglich. Sobald ich die ISO auf 800 oder 1600 hochstelle, wird die maximale Belichtungszeit reduziert. Bei ISO 100 maximal 15 Sekunden, bei ISO 200 sind's nur noch 8 Sekunden, ISO 400 maximal 4 Sekunden u.s.w. Der Sensor ist auch recht winzig 6,2 x 4,6mm.
Schade, weil gerade Nachtaufnahmen find ich einfach Klasse.
Naja, über kurz oder lang werd ich um ne richtige DSLR wohl nicht herum kommen. Vielleicht ne EOS 6D. Mal schaun :)
Achja, kannst du mir sagen, welche Hardware du für den Schwenk ab 0:13 verwendet hast? Das sieht echt klasse aus!!
Das ist natürlich Schade wens hardware technisch nicht geht mit deiner Kamera.
Den Schwenk habe ich mit dem Star Adventurer Mini gemacht.

Hello! Very beautiful view! What would be the best time to be here at night? I’m coming to here La Palma this year, in end of november. My camera is Sony A7 and objective Sigma 20mm F1.4. I would like to take such pictures, they are very beautiful! Thank you much already now! :)
Hi I just was up there once so I can't answer you the question about the best time.
The thing is in November the Milky way Center is mostly gone, so you will probably see the milky way when it gets dark as in the end of my video when it's already downing in the west. But in the East the constellation of Orion rise up which is also very nice :-)
Great video! Is it possible to stay for a night on Roque de los Muchachos or is it not allowed because of the observatories?
Not sure, before I was there I read it's not allowed.
In fact nobody said to me I have to drive down so I stayed over night, but then you have to stay the whole night, the road is blocked and they unblock it forst when sunlight rises.
And of course when you're a real astronomer you shouldn't cause light pollution when you're up there because of the professional observatorys.

Ja, also ich habe damit geliebäugelt, da oben zu fotografieren, mit den Teleskopen im Vordergrund. Und ja, wenn dann die ganze Nacht bis Sonnenaufgang. Du hast ja dann anscheinend Glück gehabt, dass dich niemand aufgefordert hat, das Gelände zu verlassen. ;-)

Very nice! Is it possible to stay at Roque de los Muchachos at night? I thought the observatory gate closes after 6 PM?
Yes If you can manage to stay up there and no Ranger send you down, you have to stay up on the roque until sunrise, then the gate opens and you can drive down.
Does anyone know why the MilkyWay keeps lighting up like there’s some type thunderstorm, even though there’s no clouds.
On some exposures there was additional light from a car maybe you mean that?
@@xsplendor8075 it’s Timelapse so my guess is that some pictures are taken brighter while others are taken darker.
Can u see this with your own eye?
You don't see it in this quality like on a long exposure picture, but you can see it better than in most other places i've ever been.
can u see this like on the video with a human eye? or can u only see it with a professional camera?
Like this only with a camera but anyway it's the best view by eye i've ever seen.
