This has got to be one of the most unique decks ever made

So a lot of the bombshell creatures that this deck would use are out of my budget, but some very cool and interesting cards I havent heard of that I'll have to check out! Wont be how I build my chromium deck, but lots of fun cards I can use in other decks. Thanks for another wonderful video! Looking forward to that 10 ideas challenge edition!
Lastly I think Psychatog would be excellent in this deck! Someone mentioned spells like entomb blocking the creature in grave, from volrath's shapeshifter. Psychatog not only fixes that problem but also is a discard outlet if you havent gotten chromium out yet, or if it got removed and you cant pay its tax.
I live for these videos. This is what commander is all about.
Very nice. I would immediately look at any madness cards too, maybe for a back up plan or, perhaps there's just some good madness cards

I try really hard not to double up on color combos in my decks unless they're 5 color, but I'm gonna have to make room next to Ertai for this beauty

THANK YOU for featuring Hakkon! Kamiz loves to get Hakkon Stormgald Scourge into the graveyard and to cast it in order to play knight creatures or spells like Nameless Inversion and Crib Swap over and over after conniving them away!
If your dirty, you could instant speed discard Phage the Untouchable during unblocked combat. Maybe use a Tetsuko Umezawa while power/toughness is low. No etb's trigger when it's already on the field.

Esper is usually really dull in my opinion, and I definitely didn't see this coming. The commander has stapled-on toolbox enabling and protection, both of which is right up my alley. I'm definitely in the mood for some graveyard shenanigans of my own with this iteration of Chromium. I think I might just switch out Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign.
It always makes my head spin when a commander deck doesn't really-kinda-sorta use the commander's ability as intended. Great job Demo; my head's still spinning.

Man, now to use this to try and make my Kumano "secret commander" deck. I love Kumano so much, but want to make him work... mono red wasn't doing it for me, and building a "secret commander" deck is complicated. Thanks for the further inspiration!

The new capenna legendaries could probably be good commander replacements for this deck
I already really love graveyard manipulation (Golgari for LIFE) so Im intrigued by the components this deck is running on. Im also a bit more of a budget player so a lot of the big beaters this deck has I wouldn't *personally* run, but at the core of putting big things into graveyard and having little things on curve become those big things is great.

An alternative package you could fit into the deck is Lazav, the Multifarious alongside Medomai. Lazav fits nicely with the graveyard exploits and - unlike Dimir Doppelganger - doesn't exile your creatures, while Medomai offers an infinite combo with Lazav.
Can you do a deck tech on Omnath, Locus of Creation deck? BUT I want you to use Song of Creation, and I want the lands to be the damage win con, like turn lands into creatures.

Since Volroth shapeshifter doesn’t have changeling, he does not count as all creature types even though he is a shapeshifter correct? If that’s the case, are you looking to recur volroth shapeshifter if it is killed; as I imagine it will be a high value target for opponents. Initially I thought since volroth was a shapeshifter you could cast him from the graveyard with haakon but that does not seem to be the case.

So cool. I have a Chromium Foretell deck that I love, but this is so unique. Have you played it? Is it viable enough to win? I see lots of interaction but idk about closing out games.

Lord of Tresserhorn would have made a great commander as well I think. But I really see why you went with white.
Question
For both entomb and pull from eternity, the spell will end up on top of your graveyard cause it resolves and is discard after the card is put into the graveyard right? So the shapeshifter would not get to see the creature?

Psychatog will solve that issue, is only $0.60, and also is a discard outlet.

How do you cast Haakon from command zone to begin with if you cant cast it from anywhere else but the graveyard?
you can't. that's why he's in the 99. the commander is chromium here.

you have the rules wrong on ashes of the fallen
haakon needs the creature to be a knight while on the stack and ashes only works on cards in the yard
So is Ashes not needed? Replace with Maskwood?
haakon re-checks to see if something is a knight when it leaves the gy and is on the stack. since it's not in the gy anymore ashes wont apply to it and the card fizzles if it doesn't have knight on it's own.
