Played with sensitivity for the music using the voices and clarity of the instrument. Joyful as Bach would have loved it. I hope you believe what he believed and get yo serve God all your life.

Brilliant. Too many organists seem to get carried away and speed through this piece in one huge blast of sound. This is sensitive and controlled. Bach must be smiling.
I think the joyous and exhilarating nature of the music takes over for many, like a runaway train.

I love this rendition. Too many organists rip through the piece so that all the intricate articulation is run together. Also, he makes lots of registration changes through the piece that add to the interest. Sebastian, thank you for posting your performance.
Agree, especially about the tempo. No orchestra plays it as fast as some solo organists do.

Excellente interpretation à mon gout! Depuis celle d'Olivier Penin, je ne trouvais rien d'autre à me plaire. Vous lui donnez une expression tout à fait différente, très vivante. Cette oeuvre est difficile à faire vivre. Trop souvent elle est jouée comme sur un clavier d'ordinateur...
J'ai suis impatient de revenir sur Leipzig et Dresden comme je le fais souvent pour la musique, et j'espère que cela coïncidera avec un concert de Sebastien Heindl!

Non so che dire, da oggi ho scoperto la sua esistenza musicale ed è come se avessi avuto una folgorazione per la sua bravura, sensibilità, eleganza, compostezza. Insomma un angelo che dal cielo viene a donarci armonia in questo mondo di brutture alleviate dalla sua presenza. Musicalmente perfetto formatosi da quella fucina di Lipsia che, a partire dal Kantor per eccellenza sforna elementi come il Nostro Sebastiano di oggi a cui faccio tanti auguri ed un grazie per quello che ancora avrà da donarci con il suo organo che sotto le sue mani è come emanare il respiro del Signore.
