    Im beginning to think your pallet got so sophisticated because you always "accidentally" eat some of the blends 🤣🤣🤣

    I wish someone from Seattle pipe club or Sutliff would try and bring back the original Mississippi River blend from around 2010 when it was exclusive to pipes and cigars. If they could even get close to what it used to be and label it original recipe or some such they would have a huge hit on their hands.

      Wasn't it made by McClelland then?

    To the word about Turkish orientals - Ironically here, in Turkey, it's almost impossible to find pipe tobacco)

    Maybe they should call it "Galloping Gloopy". 🤣

    Hi! Bradley! Really nice video! I just started pipe smoking in the past couple of days. I smoked two bowls, one is capstan and the other is captain black. However no matter how I tried, all I tasted was nothing but the burnt smell. No pleasure smells at all! Instead of perfect grey, my ash was black with a tiny bit of grey. This got me really frustrated. I don't know what I was doing wrong. Did I pack my bowl too tide? Or was the tobacco too wet? I am hoping I could get some tips from you. That would be very much appreciated! BTW the pipe I was using was a newly purchased Savinelli Tiger. I also bought a corn cob country gentleman bent, ready to try it out. Looking forward to your reply! Thanks!

    Actually, it sounds like something if like, to be honest. I'm going to try some.

    What do you think of Missouri Meerschaum pipes? Do I have to build up a cake on those? Sorry but I am new in pipe world.

      @talasblue4450 Před 4 lety +1

      I find mine do really well with a vary light cake. Check out aristacob he does some good corn cob videos

      Thanks both of you for the help comments. Does it work the same with briar pipes or it is necessary to build the cake up? Another question: Do i have to dedicate different pipes for different tobaccos? (Sorry again but im noobie)

    • @talasblue4450
      @talasblue4450 Před 4 lety +1

      I normally dont dedicate a pipe and tobaco unless its a vary strong flavored one that i want to smoke regularly, i have one corn cob for captin black grape and strong cherry flavors and one for strong lataquia (smoky) flavors. Other than that i haven't noticed much carry over or "ghosting" of my pipes. And even if one dies ghost just give it a good cleaning and after a few bowls of something else it will fade away.

    you oscillated & galloped as much as Ole Gertie bridge did back in the day on that blend

    What kinda of world do we live in when they have to explain what "first impression" means? Poor Bradley.

    Why is it you always get a mouth full of tobacco? That has never happend to me and I smoke a cob so it has a very large draw hole/stim for tobacco to come threw

    Excellent review. I am intrigued by the addition of Orientals to a heavy VaPer. As an aside, did you upgrade your camera? Picture is sharp, stable, and had no lag when you went in for the close-up.

    Personally, I've given up on blends that don't have a good first impression. Sadly, (or not?) that has been quite a few.
