If I am not wrong, Tae lost his grandma amd grandfather during his BTS journey and Jimin is always there for him. I love their friendship!!

he lost his grandma, while he was on tour in philipines...and he lost his grandpa 2-3 years after when they are going to shoot Bon Voyage..

Many scenes were from bon voyage. The one in which v was crying on the camping night was from bv season 3 (2018). V's grandfather had passed away and he came after a few days to malta (they went to malta for bv 3). The one in which v was crying and jimin back hugged him on stage was from back in 2016 when v revealed that his grandmother passed away. It was such an emotional speech especially when you know that his grandparents raised him up😭. Tae have gone through many struggles and I heard that one of his friends even commited suicide (don't know if its true) and I am glad that a person like jimin is his by his side through thick and thin!! My heart😭💜💜💜
Yes the suicide is true , he was a member of SHINee.All bts members attended his funeral and V was crying ...I remember the day he commited suicide, he left a heartbreaking letter, that his family released , I could never forget it. He wrote about pain and depression and he wondered how he lasted this long on the world of fame.
11:01 V wasn't feeling well and he can't sing properly so he is feeling down and jimin noticed hence he hugged him.
17:41 V was sad cause his grandfather just passed away that is why he arrived later on that season of bon voyage
21:01 V was crying there cause he shared the story about his grandmother passing away and at the end jimin hugged him

Vmin's friendship is actually crazy. Imagine coming to a metropole at like 16, finding a same aged friend you get along with, training, going to school and debuting with them. And after years of struggling together, you get to hug that friend on stage in a sold out arena in front of 50k+ fans. You made it, together.

Jimin is such a person who will hug you day by day, in every situation, happy or sad, sick or health, jimin is the most sweetest person ive ever seen..

This is a wonderful friendship, and the way Jimin refers to Tae as his savior always makes me soft. He said that because when he was the new kid in school Jimin said he was very quiet and Tae was the first one to come and talk to him, Tae was like a popular kid, very friendly and he even said to his friends to be good to Jimin so eventually Jimin started to open up. It's just so beautiful!

Tae had a few rough years - lost his grandma who was like a parent to him, then his friend commited suicide and then his grandpa passed away. Thanks to Jimmin and the members however he seems to be getting again happier. Honestly, to me Tae is such a motivation to keep being a good and positive person even if life serves you shit.

also fyi Rachel (this is a little important) although armys are pretty divided on ships, for the most part everyone can agree and don't mind when reactors watch vmin moments bc they are pure soulmates and have the most precious friendship and we adore how much they love each other. in other cases, like taekook for example, that's where you can come across some contrasting opinions because of how seriously that ship is taken. a lot of people really believe that they are a real couple and some shippers can take it way to far and sexualize everything they do. it's really a shame too because taekook and all the boys have such precious friendships together and individually. I'm not saying you shouldn't react to taekook moments or other bts pairs, but it's just good to know which videos are safe and simply highlight their friendship vs analyses that blow things out of proportion and suggest romantic interest.
the channel that you reacted to vmin moments on is a good one to stick with. i'll also recommend probably the best taekook video out there: "what is a taekook" (aka the babies of bts) by VTS OT7. this video showcases their adorable friendship in ways that the "taekook moments i think about a lot" doesnt fully touch on and it’s safe.
