😍😍😍😍
It’s amazing to me how this disease has managed to stay relevant.
It's probably the oldest virus we know. Been around since 2000BC.
Search for rabies hospital bill, then you know. A men in the USA payed 27k. USA is such a broken country.
This is one of the best organized, full-covered videos on medical lessons
TNX a lot!
Clear and concise ! Thank you
Amazing! Best video on rabies so far
Amazingggggggg 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 please upload other lectures( diseases ) which are related to CNS
The narrator's English is excellent, just like the rest of the video.
Great illustration , thanks alot 🥺💖💖💖
My pleasure!
Amazing 👏
heard how he said pathophysiology and came directy to the comments
Is it still safe for the active immunization even RIG is given on day 7 using intradermal? I hope you will reply thank you.
Is this a computer voice? Can you please tell me which one you use? It's very good.
Yes!
I use a website called "Watson text to speech demo".
Brilliant 👍👍👍
Thanks!

Sir, u mean 2 prodrome phases first after the bite and then after the incubation period ??
That 7th day vaccine is 7 day after first vaccination or 7 th day after second vaccination PLZZ tell
Thank you for the information. But may I know what application or website do you use for editing videos?
I use powerpoint to make the slides and animations. And a simple video editing app from playstore(only to cut and merge videos + mix the audio with video)

If a person was bitten and infected the virus, could we think about the X-rays to treat the wound?
sir my question is category 1 2 3 in teeno ke injcetion ek hi lgte h ya teeno category ke alag injections hote h
0:39 Hey, consider using dark colors for your text.
I have recently been bitten and can't get any good information or the vaccine anywhere as of yet. I have called so many places and get the run around with another number to call with no real answers. Ridiculous. I'm beginning to get nervous from this bite in hopes it not got rabbis.
Hello there, are you ok? If yes, please reply me, am in the same situation here in UAE.... can't find a hospital with a rabies vaccine
I was wondering when i first saw this and i was curious about it ontill i gave it a try because i was diagnosed with hpv for months dr bante helped me cure it thamkfull for everything dr bante thank you so much
Without biting can I get parvovirus vaccine while feeding in my hand 1 year
Are there any symptoms during the incubation period of Rabies?
The fact the cdc has airborne rabies. In february 2020 acip meeting "unfinished business". Manipulating the most lethal virus in the world. What could possibly go wrong? 😳

Can I ask? If I finished two booster shots, and I got bitten again a day later, will I still need to get another booster shot?
No, booster shot last more than one day, from few months to a year. Check with your doctor just to be safe.
Is this disease spread from the infected person to other person by direct contact...like drinking water on same glass...
Yes it can spread through contamination
bitter by the cat, the area that bitten.got swollen ,after 2 days the cat died :(
Well done😍😍😍
The content is excellent, but the computer voice, I find the monotonous way of speaking not good. I think it is best when just like the voice of neisseria and TB of your previous videos. Thank you.

I received the vacation
Sir ..I want to ask you ..if I touch the rubbish that come from stray dog mouth .. this dog I drive away before take the rubbish ..actually, it will infect me or not ?because the dog still alive without any symptom ..it is 20 days after the incident .. I feel worried because when I asked the doc at my place they said I can't get infected because my place are free from rabies and there is no bite or scratch or open wound at me..please sir reply my question 🙏 ..
Yah. If it is a rabies free area, there is no need to be worried. And as the dog is still alive and there is no direct exposure, the chance of getting rabies is also less.
@@medtoday thanks sir ..for your answer make me free from worry.. because some mammal or dog don't have simptom even though it had rabies..
I was a victim of dog bit in January 2023
Hello sir
I was bitten by a monkey I didn't injected monkey was pet And it's been 7 years and no symptoms has been matched to me im healthy fit and fine is there any danger to me plz give me suggestions
Did the monkey die in the first 10 days?
If it didn't you are okay :)
@@user-rv7xx3ut2g no sir the monkey were alive
Hello, Iam wondering if you have questions for midterm exams for virology 😊
Well, I can give some. But don't know whether they would match with your syllabus.
@Julien Du Casse you are still alive most likely your kitten didn't carry the virus. If you can get vaccine go for it, if you are at risk of other bites.
Very nice dear actually i m writing an article on tabbies for mathematical modeling so i m using ur wording hope it will not b a part of plagiarism
Sir tell me is this ur own wording ?
All the best
Yes! Most of it. But I think I created some parts of the audio with an article of "Medscape". I don't remember now. I think it wouldn't be a problem though.
Ok professor good work done but go to the pocket and batch meetings too sir 😁😁😁😁😁😁😂😂😂
😂😂😂 Will consider that too
I am never gonna take a walk in the park.
Good idea
My love for wild animals dropped to the floor and turned into fear and anxiety
@@yournearbylakotashaman6380 People who love animals are known to have a good heart. Just don't try to change who you are. But interact with them more carefully than you did previously.
@@medtoday well, yeah but my anxiety is sometimes.i try I sometimes believe my cat has rabies and is spreading it everywhere.
@@yournearbylakotashaman6380 If so, it would be better if you vaccinate your cat regularly
I GOT SCRATCHED BY A SQUIRREL IN THE FINGER. I LIVE IN ITALY. SHOULD I WORRY? Pls answer
Well, since rabies doesn't really transmit to scratches, its a 50/50 since you can get them if they licked it or like that.
I got bit by a dog 2 months ago...im still alive. Never took a shot.
So far it looks like rabies is transmitted usually thru saliva. A scratch from a squirrel isnt usually how rabies enters the body. Unless if after the scratch the squirrel manages to lick the open wound then maybe.
@@arthurgarcia4389 the incubation period of rabies can be range between 3 month to over a year , so I suggest you check on the health of the Dog because it usually dies within 10 days if it has rabies
@@mikot4439 thank you for replying. I havent felt any symptoms since the symptoms. I dont know what happened to the dog but I feel ok. Im guessing im in the clear? I hope.
Thank you again for replying....I appreciate you!
A dog bitten my toe 3 months back...i got vaccinated (5 doses on time) without immunoglobulins 😔😔...i am in fear coz for past 2months i am facing tingling at the site of the bite...please help me.
Go to a Doctor immediately
@@medtoday doctor said that its not due to rabies it can be nerve damage...he said rabies symptoms dont last for 2 months...and the dog that bit me is still alive.
@@adi2153 Rabies symptoms may appear even after an year from the exposure. But, no need to worry if the dog is alive.
@@medtoday thank you.
Why antibody cant kill the virus present in the motor neuron....is it true that if the virus attached with neuron then death is 100% certain ?
..what happens just after prodomal phase.?? Can prodormal phase last for years or months ? Some reseachers says that antibody can enter in neuron...thats how some people survived rabies
Well, usually antibodies are produced against rabies virus. But unfortunately almost always they are not produced in sufficient amounts to prevent the disease progression.
It is possible for someone to get rabies years after an exposure. This is due to the prolonged incubation period of the virus. During incubation period, the person is asymptomatic. Once the incubation period is over, then the prodromal phase starts, followed by the neurologic phase.
There may be a few cases that people survived without any prophylactic treatment, but the usual outcome is death if prophylactic treatment has not initiated as soon as possible.
@@medtoday thank you sir.....i was afraid of rabies coz bite site was tingling for almost 3 months...now its gone...😁😁i am good and stress free now.
Even i question the same qhy the virus is not killed with after the vaccination??
Antibody cannot enter the neuron why??
are you ok, now?
a
wow it's almost as fatal as covid! :O
It's actually much more fatal than COVID19. If you get COVID19, still there's a chance of survival. But once you get rabies, you wont survive.
Covid's fatality rate is 3%. Rabies' fatality rate is 100%.
