Thunder Striker actually pays homage to 2 former coasters, Thunder Road and White Lightning, the park's former Schwarzkopf shuttle loop coaster.

It sure was an L with how little effort Carowinds put into retheming Intimidator at the time of this comment being posted. The name of that coasters is also an L. "Thunder Striker"? It's lightning, bro!🤦It's nice that you brought it up that it's not grammatically correct. If you're gonna pay homage to a former ride at your park that has "thunder" in the name while having a dirt car theme, here's my idea: Thunder Rally. What do you think? I hope Carowinds puts more elements of theming into this coaster or I may never be a fan of Thunder Striker in my life. As for the other intimidator being rethemed, Kings Dominion said the coaster's layout's gonna be the same. So that means Project 305 is here to stay. I hope they don't do anything that'll downgrade the ride experience. This roller coaster means so much more to me than you think. Not to mention, I hope they come up with a theme that I'm OK with, if not, better than a racing theme. I doubt that's gonna happen, but one man can dream.🌃

Agree with all of this, it doesn't make sense to downgrade a ride that already isn't that great. Hopefully Project 305 is a better retheme
