I missed one unwarned tornado that was literally two pixels wide on the northeast side of Houston, but besides that our coverage of this event during landfall was immaculate. Enjoy this archive as a resource and a look back at Beryl! - Andy

My nephew lives in Lake Jackson, TX. I shared your CZcams channel with him last night. At 7:50 this morning, 7-8-24, he texted me that the wind is ferocious, tree branches and limbs are all over the yard. The windshield of one vehicle took a direct hit from a branch and the outside is shattered and he said you can feel the cracks on the inside. His neighbor's tree squashed both of the neighbors vehicles. My nephew was very lucky. He lost power at 1:00 a.m. The neighbors tree went over at 4:40 a.m. It took out the internet feed. He said it was too dangerous to be outside. He said one 4" diameter or larger branch from a tree with the strong winds could kill you. Also when the wind gusts hard, it shakes the whole two-story house.😳🙏

Your coverage provides an enormous amount of value to society during these sort of events, and so does your team who literally risk their safety trying to capture real time coverage of whatever Storm is being covered, so thanks for that. 3:56:53 Meteorologist Andy Hall Q&A
3:57:15 Answer to question: “What is the general structure and formation of a hurricane?”
3:59:44 Landfall is when the center of eye goes over land, rather than the outer bands. This is because the eye is the center of the hurricane and the defining feature of the storm.

STORM SAGE: the Ryan Hall rap”
    ---
    **Verse 1:**
When the skies go dark and the winds start to call,
Who you gonna trust? Yo, it's Ryan Hall.
With a forecast so sweet, it's like a weather mall,
Every prediction he drops, it's like a knowledge ball.
    **Chorus:**
Ryan Hall, Ryan Hall, he's got the weather on lock,
From the thunder's roar to the tickin' of the clock.
He's the man with the plan when the tempests rock,
Ryan Hall, our weather beacon, solid as a rock.
    **Verse 2:**
He's tracking the storms, with precision, y'all,
From the hurricanes' spin to the snowflakes' fall.
Ryan's on the mic, he's got the gall,
To tell it like it is, whether big or small.
    **Chorus:**
Ryan Hall, Ryan Hall, he's got the weather on lock,
From the thunder's roar to the tickin' of the clock.
He's the man with the plan when the tempests rock,
Ryan Hall, our weather beacon, solid as a rock.
    **Verse 3:**
In the eye of the storm, when the wild winds thrall,
There's one man standin', unshaken, tall.
Ryan Hall, with the call, he's servin' us all,
Guidin' through weather's maze, he won't let us fall.
    **Bridge:**
With a click and a swipe, he's got data on haul,
Maps light up, screens glow, he's got the gall.
Forecast king, weather's pal, he's breakin' the wall,
Ryan Hall, the weather sage, he's got the protocol.
    **Verse 4:**
As the sun sets low and the night sky sprawls,
We reflect on the day with a calm that enthralls.
Thanks to Ryan Hall, we're ahead of the squalls,
Safe in our homes, as the evening calls.
    **Chorus:**
Ryan Hall, Ryan Hall, he's got the weather on lock,
From the thunder's roar to the tickin' of the clock.
He's the man with the plan when the tempests rock,
Ryan Hall, our weather beacon, solid as a rock.
    **Verse 5:**
He's the hero unsung in the weather wars,
Guiding our ships safely to shores.
So here's to Ryan, who forever explores,
    The atmosphere's secrets, opening doors.
    **Outro:**
With wisdom and courage, he never stalls,
Ryan Hall, the weather champ, he stands tall.
In the world of forecasts, he's got the ya’ll’s
To predict, protect, and answer our calls.

Hour-thirty in as I type this... Actually, I was fully on your side with that choice for not going live too often.. Even with the actual tornado outbreaks, I have in fact skipped over couple of your livestreams, because there have just been so many tornado outbreaks, that it felt like spam. That's right... my brain said "THE WEATHER is just spamming now, I'm done." ;) A week later there was another livestream going up, but the avocado (*) was sitting right over my part of the state, so I actually tuned in. Ever since then, I always try to load up any big stream your, to watch it for a little bit at least (I'm just gaming in another window, background activity doesn't matter too much, as long as there IS background noise) ... and give it a Like, to do my small part to help it gain traction in the algorithm. Not too many times you could actually theoretically save lives, by simply liking videos. LOL
(*) That's what I call the green, yellow, and orange/brown blobs you use to show areas of potential strong storm activity... but nowadays also kind of applies to any of the round-ish blobs you put in your thumbnails in my mind.

Good afternoon Ryan, as you probably know South Texas water supply for the cities and farms in the Rio Grande Valley depend on the rain that we desperate need at Amistad and Falcon dams. Could you give a video update on the possible rains you forecasted a few days ago. We need to have rains to re supply the water at the international dams for agriculture to get irrigation water allocation for August start of the season. Your great videos and insight will help us in knowing how the moisture and rain will develop in Amistad Dam. Thank you

I don’t know if anyone noticed, but this hurricane hit Texas on the same exact hour that the last eclipse of 8 April 2024 entered Texas 90 days ago and is projected to fallow the same path as Ryan has shown. Blessings to all and stay safe

Here are some prayers against Storm Beryl:
    Prayer for Protection:
    "Dear God,
We come before you, seeking your protection and shield against Storm Beryl. Please calm the winds, quiet the waves, and still the rain, that we may rest in your peace.
May your angels guard us, and may your love surround us, now and always. Keep us safe from harm, and protect our homes and communities from damage.
We trust in your power and your promise to keep us safe, and we pray in Jesus' name. Amen."
    Prayer for Calm:
    "Dear God,
Please still the storm and bring calm to our midst. May your peace be our constant companion, and may we rest in your love.
We pray for those who are in the path of the storm, that they may be kept safe and secure. May your grace and mercy be their constant companions, now and always.
We pray in Jesus' name. Amen."
    Prayer for Strength:
    "Dear God,
We pray for strength and courage in the face of Storm Beryl. May your grace sustain us, and may your love give us hope.
We pray for those who are in need, that they may be comforted and supported. May your church be a beacon of hope and love, now and always.
We pray in Jesus' name. Amen."
Remember to stay safe and follow the instructions of local authorities during the storm. May God's protection and peace be with you and your loved ones.
