    Why am I watching this? I don’t grow carrots, I don’t know what’s native soil, it’s 3 am.

      it is time for you my friend... start getting into gardening and growing your own food i did some carrots and potatoes this year and it's the best experience you'll make trust me

      That was my first thought. Bigger isn't always better. I would bet the smaller carrots were better.

    It also looked like the ones grown with native soil were "uglier" which doesn't matter for home use, but for truck farmers can make a difference in sales. Thanks for your efforts.

    I converted an old laundry sink into a raised bed, might be deep enough to try this next year. Cool experiment, easy to follow too

    U can store them for long time in sand also, no moisture, less rotting

    So 'bigger is better'? What about taste?
    Dutch agriculture produces big awesome tomatoes, which taste like water. A Dutch guy close by produces simple looking tomatoes, tasting awesome.
