  • Kortel’s Mathieu Laperche was on hand to showcase the new Kliff III at Austria's Stubai Cup in March 2024. An update to the ultralight mountain harness, the Kliff II, it’s designed for alpinists and mountaineers. They also had the Kuik III reversible harness on display that can be flown with or without an optional cocoon. A new Kompact bag system was also on show - at just 400g it doubles as a packing bag and rucksack which all folds away into very little.

Very cool! I'm glad to see that there are more options for a first pod harness available!

Wonderful to see the extra back protection, I feel like too many harnesses only add some dense foam and leave it at that. However, I'm really disappointed to see that only one reserve option is available and it's front mount. Maybe that's why they emphasize the back protection.
