It is probably on the North side of Greenwich. I was always amazed with how the Merritt almost makes a semi-circle as you travel from the NE to the SW. My mom told me long ago, that the landowners wanted the hwy to not encroach on their land, or as little as possible, probably along the lines of the latter.
