I am a Sikh. Have massive respect for Hindus. Cutting a country out of India will make both India and the new country weaker. We need a stronger economy and that will happen if India remains united.
***** Are you serious here? I have never seen a real Sikh character in Bollywood movies ever and don't expect it as well. Bollywood is no doubt one of the biggest reasons for spoiling the image of sikhs. A normal non-Sikh Indian thinks that Sikhs do Bhangra, are fond of drinking, etc. etc. and they learn all this from Bollywood. I will always stand against any Bollywood movie that comes out with a Sikh character in it.

+Quake I disagree with you.. watch any patriotic movie and you wont find any Bollywood movie which shows that Sardars are back stabbers .. you may see Hindus or Muslims etc etc portrayed as back stabbers in the movies but never a Sardar, at lest I have never seen any movie which shows Sardars are back stabbers... The Patriot image of Sardars is because of Bollywood movies... Please spread positive vibes .. Guru Nanakji said once said that when an ant bites us we end up killing all the ants in anger ... The main problem is anger .. If you look at the humanity closely then you will find that everybody wants to be a good human being but nobody wants to be a sikh, hindu or muslim etc ..therefore spread humanity and not religion... even Guru Nanak ji believed in it but unfortunately people forgot all the human values taught by Guru Nanak and now trying to teach religion to others...

Sikhi and Hinduism are so deeply connected that it is impossible for anyone to separate them. You can't stop Sikhs from going to the temples, and Hindus from going to the Gurdwaras.
well.no offence brother but if you read guru granth sahib ji or sikh history closely then going to temples and worshipping idols is not allowed in sikhism.yes you may have seen many sikhs praying to photos but it's not allowed. according to sikhism ,God is the Supreme soul even above brahma ,vishnu and Mahesh.They also worship God then there is no point in worshipping them.This is written in japji sahib (bani written by guru Nanak dev ji).And don't misunderstand it as me creating hatred but you see every religion has their own theories and that's the theory of sikhism.And if someone's theory is different than yours then I think you should try to accept that person the way he or she is.thats is called real brotherhood .So please don't categorize sikh practices in Hindu culture.they are quite different.otherwise I respect your beliefs but I don't agree with them.

If Khalistan is made:
1. Who will be the PM? Sikhs start killing each other for gurudwara leadership what if they have to fight for PM.
2. Do we have leadership to run country? Sikhs don't trust shromini comettee, how can they trust politicians?
3. Have they learnt any lessons from Pakistan that made country on religious basis?
4. Do they have any Khalistan constitution?
5. What will be the area of Khalistan?
6. Khalistan will be very small if we only consider punjab. Do we include Pakistan punjab, haryana, uttrakhand, himachal Delhi also? And do you think India is going to leave that. Do you think Pakistan is going to leave its punjab? What will happen to relation with Kashmir if you try to include that?
7. Do all supporters of Khalistan will come back from foreign countries and live there?
8. Do you agree to use passport to visit takhat Hazur Sahib and Takhat Patna sahib on passport?
9. Do all sikhs agree with you to live in Khalistan who live in other states of India?
10. What will happen to the sikhs who are on high positions in government or defence?
11. What will be the income source of Khalistan?
12. Khalistan will be land locked country, will you request India or Pakistan to give you way to sea ?
There are plenty more questions.
13. We in our ardaas request to see Gurudwaras that we lost to Pakistan and khalistanis are planning to loose takhats. Isn't it against our ardaas?

In Veda Worship has be mentioned with specific rituals ,Why Goddess Chandi image on Guru Govind Shahed sward and he write chandi da war ,Lord Ram and Lord Krishan worshipped ShivShaki with proper temple ?Either follow the path of Arya Smaj worship Veda and Om with hawan ,or with vedanta and Bhakti yoga Sargun to Nirgun journey complete

Would like to add just one thing. When Khalsa was created, out five most were out of Punjab. They were from all over India. They were those Hindustanis who had courage to be offer themselves to be blessed for being Khalsa. So Khalsa has roots all over India. Out of all differences if one thing that could be the base of unity of Bharat, in my understanding, is Khalsa.

Even Sant Jarnail Singh ji did not demanded for the formation of separate homeland. The politics and the media have shaped the minds of the non Sikhs such that whenever a Sikh rises up for a demand, they term him as a khalistaani. Well khalistaan means the Land of the Khalsa. And do remember Panjab is also on the other side of the border. So these people particularly the Indian panjabis and Pakistani panjabis share a very much common cultural identity. Hi Jagraj. I commend your work on promoting Sikhism. Due to Punjab being full of warfare, it has been difficult to spread the gift of Sikhism beyond Punjab, although Guru Nanak was successful in doing so in South India. I think more and more people should know about Sikhism, but our aim should never be to have a separate nation. Sikhism has never been about separation, but about encouraging a way of life which allows disciples to live in harmony, and also brings them closer to Waheguru and help our souls leave the cycle of reincarnation with good karma.

@@fatrooster4632 Sikhism is a Sampradaye started by Guru Shri Nanak Ji. It isn't out of Sanatan Dharm. We have many such Sampradayes. I am Hindu and I worship Shri Ram but I also bow to Sikh, Jain and Bodh gurujis.

I am a Malayali hindu. South Indian Hinduism, especially Tamil Hinduism doesn't really follow Vedas because they are written in Sanskrit and the Tamil language has no connection to Sanskrit.
Sikhi already contains more the 70% of the concepts of Sanatan Dharam. I.e the belief in karma, maya, moksha, reincarnation, one god (which hindus refer to as Brahman). It's not really conversation for a Hindu to become Sikh or even a Jain or a Buddhist because they are all dharmic faiths and all born in India.
One of the best contributions that the Sikh Gurus made to Indian society is that they tried to destroy the caste system in India

Sikh teachings should have spread more throughout India. There is a famous Gurudwara in Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu where Guru Nanak Dev Ji travelled to and had debates with Tamil Brahmins. Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji travelled throughout Assam and Uttar Pradesh and there is famous Gurudwara in Dhubri in Assam. The reasons why Sikhi stopped spreading throughout India is no.1: language and no.2 British rule in India. Britain convinced the Sikhs that they were a "martial race". So Sikhi and Punjabism became the same thing. And the British brainwashed the rest of India to think this way.
India is not big enough for Khalsa. Wherever the Khalsa live, that place is Khalistan. When Khalsa lives all over the world and their love overwhelms all, then it will be called 'Duniastan'.
If someone does want to talk about turning the Punjab into 'Khalistan' they can take the example of Israel. They got their own country because they were being persecuted, and it became the holy land of their people. Is the world better off because of the existence of Israel? I think not. It has continued to create more and more conflicts. I believe this is because they take the name of God but don't serve others, the whole country only exists to serve "our people". The whole concept of having your own country is inherently selfish.
Similarly we don't say 'Sikhi Da Bhala', we say 'Sarbat Da Bhala'. Is this not the true spirit behind what a true "Khalistan" world be like?

I find it dangerous that he feels the need to belittle another faith as being simply a 'culture'. His understanding of Hinduism is quite stunted and narrow. I also find it dangerous that he expressed the need to convert Hindus into Sikhs. I don't think Sikhism is based on the concept of supremacy or requires everyone to become a Sikh. In fact, the true definition of Sikh is someone who's a seeker of the truth and that comes in so many forms. He could have really nailed this question about Khalistan by denouncing such concepts and emphasising on the importance of unity and diversity which makes India what it is, but instead he just pushed the idea of supremacy.

United Nations have listed 46 civilizations (plz check it online) of this world...such as Greek, Mesopotamia, Egyptian, chinese, hinduism, persian etc.....out of which only 2 civilizations have survived till today...ie chinese civilization and hindu civilization. Rest other civilizations have been conquered or finished on their own. (ex:Egyptian civilization taken over by islam, Greek taken over by Christianity etc)
Now, out of hindu civilization, 3 religions have emerged ie Sikhism, Jainism and Buddhism. These 3 are religions but Hinduism is the parent civilization.
Indian supreme court also rejected Hinduism to be a religion and said that "Hinduism is a way of life" which ofcourse means civilization.
Personally, I am a fan on Sikhism. It is the most balanced religion in the world and has the most fun loving people in it. Here in India I have loads of Sikh friends who are party people who laugh and make other's laugh. Such full of life people. Also, I visit Gurudwara with them pretty regularly...once every 4 days I guess.
And yes..as far as taking over India is concerned...haven't you already?
