Eric did the impossible... He ate a single pringle without having any more. Incredible.
The end of the world approaches....
@@goatmealcookies7421 just in time with all these amazing set pieces
Did 30 takes that scene
Totally expected him to cut away to a shot of that ziploc bag with just crumbs in it.
The impossible
Totally nonchalant big announcement at 8:05 like we wouldn't notice. Congrats, Eric!
Thanks Barret!
I stopped the video and rushed to the comments just now. Congratulations Eric!!! I became a dad 5 months ago and my life went from great to awesome :-))) Yours will too
lol for real i was like oop babys coming then he just says, good luck budy its quite the ride lol
lol time to join bills dad club lol
@@EricsHobbyWorkshop Try keep the following for terrain:
screw top pots the hospital will give your wife for storing milk
baby formula cans
Various syringes for oral medicines
Happy for you!
@@EricsHobbyWorkshop Congrats for both of you. Really taken us by surprise, have to rewind that part just to be sure.
My version of 00:00 "Today we are pushing back on projects that seem to stretch forever by ignoring them, and starting new projects that will inevitably also stretch on forever."
eric-chadface-yes-meme.jpg
Classic move lol
Ah, my model painting process.
Congrats on the long-term project with the wife :)
Congratulations Eric! Being a dad is the best thing I ever did with my life, and soon you’ll have a little hobby minion following you around!
Congrats on the good news Eric! You will be a great Dad!
ERIC, CONGRATS ON BEING A FATHER BRO! TAKE CARE OF THE WIFE, SHE WILL NEED YOUR HELP!!!
Yep. Congratulations my Dude. Keep it Going. I wish you the best
That chain/magnet trick is a beauty! Congrats on impending fatherhood man.
That magnet was a stroke of genius, another great video to the collection!
I know, right?!? I was like, what the hell?! So simple and quick and versatile!! Damn!!
Also, congrats to you and your wife! Super cool news.
Thanks Perry! We are really happy
Congratulations Eric, being a father is the best adventure ever!!
Congratulations on being a dad soon! As an at-home dad, I can tell you its the best thing in the world!
Agreed! Spend all day every day with my boys (3 and 5 yo), and loving it. Congrats Eric!
Congratulations Eric, being a father is amazing (but also really tiring)
Congratulations Eric, being a dad is awesome, and kids toys are the best for crafts!!! 😉
congratulation for you and your good Lady :) your child will be a great help for your hobby, all my 40K chaos Spawn are made from old toys the kids no longer played with :)
Good stuff, Eric. I'm particularly digging the "hide it in plain sight" aspect, such as with the added rigidity and the magnet barrel
And the pregnancy announcement.
Dude the magnet and chain thing is friggin' genius !!!!! Awesome build as always .
Thanks for the video Eric.
Jeebus!! What the hell man!? :D I just LOVE how you smash blocks of foam together, slap some other shite on there, fricken straws, chip cans, and BAM! Instant awesome terrain. I love your super simple paint schemes that really make your crafts accessible to anyone who seems intimidated to painting terrain. I'm pretty experienced, but I do sometimes get intimidated by the painting process, and you help with making it simple. Awesome again!!!!
If you ever get stressed, get a heavy blanket and a cookie. Always works.
10:00 XD The fate of the disobedient Mod Podge is Legendary!!!!
That magnet idea is highkey genius. To save on magnets I bet you could easily craft either a dummy barrel to cover the magnet, or just glue together a magnet-based barrel :)
Those industrial ladders are GENIUS dude!
OMG!!! Congratulations for the baby Eric! Those are great news! You guys deserve all the best! Hugs and love from Italy, daddy 😍🇮🇹😍🇮🇹😍🤗🤗🤗
That was lots of fun..the mod podge bottle grab was funny and shows how crafty you are with thee most common of things.
Loved this, and then the Oldmunda Delaque heavy showed up! Glorious.
Congrats Eric! Being a dad is such an amazing adventure! Very happy for you and your wife!
Scratch building a new human. Niiiice.
Congrats!
I liked this video. Back to the basics sort of vibe. Also, congrats on the baby! If you don’t make a video in a few years time converting baby toys into terrain, I’ll be shocked.
just awake and I have to go do a 12 hour shift. knowing this video will be waiting for me when I get home helps.
The Pringles can is such a classic feature. It's a joy to watch you build.
Congrats to you and your wife! Can't wait to see the GrimDark Crib build. 🤣🤣🤣🤣😁👍
Hey Eric, Congratulations on your upcoming fatherhood :) Here's wishing you, your wife and the baby all the best and every happiness in the future!
Love this build. And congrats on becoming a dad soon!
Inspiring build. I especially love the idea of chains as easily moveable ladders.. I think I’ll incorporate that idea in future builds. :)
Pretty happy with that one too. Ran out of time to make proper ladders! Necessity is the mother of invention
It is genius. And chains are great for adding a more detailed look (more 'detaily' than ladders I think).
I would like to see a video where you do a bunch of different themed mini bases. These builds are awesome but I want to see what you can do with that space limitation :P
Holy shit, 2021 is the year of Warhammer youtubers turned daddys!
Lockdown has been a bit physical for some, hasnt it…..
Congratulations bro, best of luck for you and your spawn!
Congrats on fatherhood!
Great build. Really enjoyed this one!
Congratulations on the big announcement! I made everything for my first kid out of insulation foam. Learning how to make useful diapers out of 3" foam took a while, but I won't spoil the secret.
Hi Eric! Great video and the project itself. I really love your channel and my favourite thing about it is that you keep with classic crafting materials and techniques - no airbrush, almost no 3d printing, no fancy stuff, just good, old, classic terrain bulding of XPS, wood and trash. Perfect! Please keep on rollin. ;)
That magnet chain latter is a great piece of active terrain. Another great piece of playable terrain overall too.
Congrats Eric! More great terrain and a mini-me on the way :D
Congratulations on becoming a father. You'll love it. This was a great tutorial with a lot of interesting tips. Thanks for sharing this.
You are a creative fiend. I love seeing you back in your element, happily winging it, (punishing empty bottles...), and coming up with fantastic terrain. Bravo for the build and congrats for the news of your new sidekick!
Congrats! I look forward to more streams as you are up late bouncing a baby on one knee and a paintbrush in you hand.
Congrats for the upcoming miniature human!
That magnet and chain idea is genius. Excellent build for a day's work man. 👍
Ah Pringles can terrain. My 90s warhammer guide vibes are tingling.
I finally used your amazon link and bought some corrugated paper and some of those pipes you forgot to link. Been wanting to use both in a build for a while.
Sir. You’ve outdone urself with some of the ideas. Mag chain routes, straw pipe fitting! Etc. Awesome.
The chain idea at the end is seriously cool
That magnet and chain detail is very cool.
Congratulation Eric. A new adventure begin 😁. Good build too, we all need to remember we don't need overdetailed terrains pieces which takes weeks to be finished to enjoy the process of making and playing on a good painted terrain piece 😁
Studson studios sent me and I'm glad I clicked you, your an amazing artist, subscribed!
Immediate, effective, and the magnet + chain detail is inspired. But rather than an abandoned factory the finished piece suggests a role closer to the original plastic garage; this has the look and feel of a derelict hovercar port and mechanics, the perfect ganger hideout for clandestine deals, chopping up speeders and the occasional ambush. Great work.
Love watching your videos. Really inspiring and really gets my memories of GW making scratch-built terrain pumping. I've purchased some of the plastic toy pipes and the 1/16th and 1/8th hole punches off of Ebay as I'm super keen to make some Industrial terrain again. (Haven't made any for nearly ten years.)
Congrats to you and your wife Eric. Hope it all goes well. Be blessed.
The building is awesome too.
Builds like this are great. 5-7 pieces like that and you got a decent table going.
It doesnt have to take months to get a playable scape going if youre new in the hobby or returning from real life disruptions.
And I always love builds that lets me raid toy bins at garage sales.
Like the chain and magnet. Neat idea. Really liked this whole reepurpose. And contrats to parents to be.
Am I the only one who really wants to touch the hot wire, touches it, regrets it, but then touches it again?
"Grade 5" is the most Canadian thing you've said on your channel so far, lol.
Looks like the farm houses in Halo Reach during that sniper mission!
Nice!!
Looks simmilar to the abandoned factorys outside Kerning city in Maplestory haha! got a good flashback.
What a wonderful bit of news so casually dropped. Congratulations to your growing family!
If you are having trouble removing labels on plastic etc.: use a lighter and apply the flame in short(!) motions directly on the sticker. Don't burn it or melt the plastic but heat it up until the sticker is quite hot. The glue will become soft and you can peel it off without any residue. Takes 2-3 times until you know when to peel or how much heat you need to apply but then it works like a charm. I use it even on cardboard to remove labels.
Congratulations to the soon to be Dad. The sweetest responsibilities are on the way.
Congratulations man! Best wishes for you, you wife and you child on their way!
Congrats Bro I'm now a grandpa they grow fast enjoy every moment! I gotta feeling your going to be a great Dad! Again congrats!
To remove sticky labels just spray on a little rubbing alcohol, let it soak for 2', and peel them off leaving a behind clean surface!
This is fkn brilliant, so much imagination and vision here to see how toys and other materials can become perfect terrain. Outstanding.
One day? Madness! (Nicely done as always). Cheers!
This is awesome! Also quick and easy to drill and glue an earth magnet holding the chain into the bottom of a barrel or other scatter terrain to hide it :)
Love this one, man! An excellent one day build.
Congratulations on becoming a father! And I look forward to the announcement in 8-10 years of the father-daughter/son build project (if it goes that route, of course)!
Great build Eric. May I say congratulations on fore coming fatherhood, I think you will be teaching some useful stuff to someone in a few years. I noticed you had trouble with the bottle label, I have found lighter fuel is a good remover for things like that, hope you may find that useful in the future. All the best.
Looks amazing, especially for the time it took you! Also congrats on the upcoming baby...you made the biggest craft of all 😁
Love this build! The big surfaces make it look great for a large scale game like 40K!
"They're not toys, they are models!"
Love the stairs on the tube, very cool.
Eric.... you were really stressing me out with how close you got to that cutter. It's not a saw, but still stressful. 😉 Stay safe Daddo!
Havent burnt myself yet! Im sure it will happen at some point. Not worried
Brother Eric please use lights on your terrain it's gonna look spectacular 🙏
good luck with the kid, that's a huge responsibility!
Congratulations on the baby. Love your channel!
you're a legend man, grats on the baybay
Great trick with that magnet and chain!!
For a one day project, this came out awesome.
Congat's to You and yours...You'll make for a great Dad!
And nice build...quick, effective and useful.
Cheers!
"Child's building toy" is, as we all very well know, is code for "Terrain modeler's secret weapon."
Cool idea with the magnet and chain. Also love how you punished that empty modpodge bottle. Cheers!
An alternate way to hide the magnets is simply to glue them onto the bottom of small pieces of scatter terrain. For that matter, you could build scatter terrain that has solid ladders hanging off the side and down, if you need yet more of them.
9:38 Wait, did you say crotchet-ing 😉
Congrats on the little construction ❤❗ ( and all the rest of the great builds you made 😉)
Congrats to you and your Wife!
Great build and congratulations to you and your wife!
One of the best builds for my skill level
That’s an awesome build! Would love to get my hands on one of those sets. Great thing about it is you can continuously add detail as you see fit. Even add some abandoned vehicles at the top or an aerial vehicle of some kind for specific missions. Would work great for a post apocalyptic game or cyberpunk. Congrats on the soon to be new addition to the family. My son turned 17 this year. Trust me, time flies!
Nice job. I like the chains with magnets idea.
Hey Eric, I'd love to see a brutalist building with some railing to walk around on! I'd also love to see you do something that challenges your normal style
Top tip: you can remove labels and things which are stuck on well with a heat gun or hairdryer
That magenet + chain trick is great. I have never seen that done before.
Congratulations! Awesome news at 8:05!
Congrats on your new addition to the family! You're the reason I got into Necromunda, cheers mate!
