- Going through all of my tanks and give an update on my fish, both in my basement fish room and my 220 gallon display tank upstairs.

Very nice Steve!
I didn't see any uratus cichlids which are yellow
with brown or black horizontal stripes that
go from the Gil's back to their tails.
I had some chipokees cichlids as well.
They're like a really dark purple with horizontal
blue stripes down the sides. Kind of shaped
Like a largemouth bass.
I had several breeds that were really rare &
hard to find in fish stores. Probably well over
$400 just in fish. Those power head filters
that move the water are really cool.
The most expensive fish I had was a
frontosha cichlid. It was white with black
vertical stripes. $50 each.
My room mate got the idea to move in with
his girlfriend & I couldn't afford the bills.
While moving my tanks my 55 gallon tank
slid off the back of the truck & literally
shattered all over the hardtop road!
Talk about being pissed & bummed out I
Had to give up all of them & move away
8 hours from my hometown.
Really miss those fish! Had them for years
and it feels the same as losing a pet dog.

Really liked the way you have yours going and I would like to do on a similar scale. Thanks for sharing! Great videos. Keep up the good work. Your content and your fish are some of the best I've seen on CZcams. I could see how it would be difficult to come up with content but honestly would just watch your tanks just by themselves.

I'm not much of a cichlid lover but you have some good looking unique ones.
Miss all your videos . What’s your opinion do you think with NorthFinUSA cichlid formula does it do enough without the krill pro for color or do you think you need the krill pro. What size pellets did you feed your peacocks. Thanks for your help
You can supplement with krill pro but you’ll be fine with just the cichlid formula
So beyond the auto water change system the only filters in your basement tanks are the sponge filters?
Also fish room tours are my favorite videos. I started keeping cichlids because of your channel :)

Hey steve I have a question. I have a albino firefish when I bought him he was amazing color. Pink color. I have 20 cichlids but no aggression 125 g tank. Water parameters are good. Every fish is colored up except him. Only with light on. With the light off he colors up but not how bought him. What do you recommend. No other fish picks on him. Should I put him in a qt for a while until he colors back up with confidence or what do you think?
+Philthy Phill if you have no aggression and only one fish colored down then consider yourself lucky and try to enjoy it while it lasts. Don't mess with anything

Your video and audio quality is great. What camera do you use?
+HalfMan HalfCichlid I recently switched to a Panasonic G7. The voiceover was recorded on a condenser mic.
Thank you. Does it auto focus, and can you see what the camera sees when you are being filmed. How is the audio? Thanks again.
It does auto focus, though it seems to work better in 1080 than in 4K. It has a flip out screen so you can definitely see what's being filmed. The in camera audio isn't great so I use an external shotgun mic when I'm recording audio and video at the same time.

but they fish colors are washed out in some cases..is it bcoz the fish are scared of reflections?
