The most funny thing I discovered after watching this video is when I had 600$ setup from a long ass time ago I used to be diamond 3 but now that I upgraded everything and got a 2000$ setup I'm hardstuck plat : )
Your monitor isn't close enough to your face. Yesterday I tested playing with my monitor too close for comfort and pulled out a 6-1 W/L, my scores didnt improve but my rank did, thats got to mean something!

I dont have a graphics card and my computer is older than me. I get 40-60 frames and i am better than alot of them. Valorant is as much how you position yourself as it is specs. If you put your self in good spots then you will naturally do better.

You kinda see diminishing returns once you go past mice like the g305 and glorious model O and D, really any decent mechanical keyboard and a monitor like the aoc 24g2 that has a great panel

Gear matters but you have to have the skill first. If youâre good with trash peripherals, better ones will make you better, but if you canât use trash peripherals, then donât bother spending thousands on the best specs
I used to play on the same laptop with the llama mug at s2 (surface pro 7) and my fps on a great day was peaking 30. That man is a legend
Good setup gives to you ability to do what you want
Just a reminder: not everyone who buys a flashy gaming pc is all for that competitive grind you get what i mean? It's not wrong to have a epic pc but just play valorant casual, not taking it that seriously.
That being said, it's still amazing how some people here get such high ranks with such cheap setups
and also it comes down to experience a lot of peole have been playing valorant for much less time. i dont get the peopel saying cheap setup = higher rank, its probs just that they got the setup long time ago and have been grinding on it for a long time while the drippy setups are much newer and some people play casually
As a guy who plays on laptop gear doesn't matters as long as you get 60 FPS I sometimes get 30 15 it turns worse then but average 50 FPS is playable
But the little monitor i have the 80-110 ping and the 720p resolution is horrible. Like when im playin on breeze im allways dodge bcuz i see nothing on that map

Gear does matter, I use to play Valorant everyday on my gaming laptop and a few months ago, my laptop wonât even load Valorant anymore when I ready up for matches so it made it appear as if i was dodging. I had to uninstall Valorant and stop playing it just to avoid my account from getting banned.

For me the most important thing is , INTERNET CONNECTION.... very hard to beat someone with below 10 ping when u play 70-100 ping, it's impossible
I have the same problem, but sometimes my ping goes up to 3000. I don't even know what I'm doing in game when it happens đđ€Ł
@Simone Sapia my friend study abroad so when we play with him he have 20 ping and we got 150 ping, and we still out frag enemies so i wont say that

The ping goes 100ping but same as u play with 60ping , normal lag but u still can play , when u play with bad internet and unstable connction , the real thing happen , u walk A site but u teleport back to base... Raze bomb come out of nowhere.... Bullet keep travel to ur head ... When u play high rank , there's no way u can beat them with tht .... They see u first before u see them ... U fight with invisible enemy ... Lag n ded , without u see them
makes me happy that even though i sit on the floor on my blanket with my $4 office mouse, laptop keyboard+ constant 70-90 ms i'm still higher than then ones with OP setup xD
