Loved this! Definitely don’t want you to feel like you have to push through a book you don’t like for a video though! Reading slumps are the worst. Other fantasy books I recommend: Obsidian by Jennifer L Armentrout, Red Rising by Pierce Brown and Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard. Also I think a “reading spicy books for a week” video could be fun!

My favorite fantasy book BY FAR is the Throne of Glass series. It's so long, but SOOOOOO worth it. I will say, I enjoyed it a lot more when I started listening to the audiobook while reading it. Since it's so long, you get so immersed into that world and it's just so good!!

Omg please please please read the infernal devices series. It’s fantasy with romance. But it’s slow burn enemies to lovers with a love triangle. It is quite literally the greatest book series of all time it’s sooo so so good. You are going to swoon over Will Herondale ❤️

I recently just read the Fable series, and I loved it! There's four books, Saint #0.5, Fable #1, Namesake #2, and The Last Legacy #3. The difference is you can read just Fable and Namesake by themselves. The Last Legacy is in the same world a little after the time period in Namesake, but not with the same characters. There is also romance to a point!

You should read The Shadow and Bone series!! I know you already read Six of Crows but its such a good trilogy! There's fighting, adventure, and a small love triangle as well!
I loved Serpent and Dove! The second one was slow and the beginning of the third one was slow but it ended great! Don't know if you read them yet but they are worth it! ❤

okay so…if you need fantasy book recommendations i recommend keepers of the lost cities, it’s a long series with big books but it’s amazing, there is love triangles and it’s 13+ so it’s easy to read
I just finished The Shadows Between us, and I definitely recommend that for a good fantasy romance, and the only like fantasy part is the Shadow King’s shadow powers. It’s royalty, and the banter and sarcasm is *chef’s kiss*

Same about struggling to understand the magic, world, and what is going on with a fantasy. With the ACOTAR series I had to periodically read a chapter recap webpage to make sure I didn’t miss anything

I haven't read Kingdom of the Feared (i've read the first two) But since you Like Wrath you might want to read Belladonna by Adalyn Grace. The main love interest in that gives off the same vibes as Wrath in my opinion.

if you haven’t already i 100% recommend reading Once Upon a Broken Heart and Ballad of Never After by Stephanie Garber, the third book in the series isn’t out yet but it’s honestly one of the best enemies to lovers fantasies i have read in a while and has me in such a chokehold! got me out of the biggest reading slump i’m just so excited for when we can finally get our hands on the last book 😩

thank you for this video! you might like defy the night by brigid kemmerer. its a trilogy, but only the first two are out at the moment with the third one announced to be released later in the year. they're ya fantasy books and are quite easy to grasp.

Only book so far with the mc as a witch that I love was Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder, it still is my top fav! 💕 I'm glad you gave an honest review on Anastasia. If you enjoy a mafia romance read the Brutal Birthright series by Sophie Lark. I haven't read Anastasia, but I love Sophie Larks other books.

You should try sorcery of thorns and an enchantment of ravens, they are both stand alone fantasy books by Margaret Rogerson
Margaret Rogerson is my go-to for standalone books!! Definitely recommend her books
Have you ever seen the cartoon Anastasia from that came out many years ago? It was one of my favorite movies as a kid. The soundtrack is great. That’s what I associated the book with.
I love S. Lark, but I couldn't finish Anastasia , I had to stop. Love your videos.
I loved Anastasia. I've read 36 novels so far this year and Anastasia is the only one that's received 5 stars. It has everything I like in a story. I normally do not like reading books heavy in politics, but I didn't even notice the politics in this book. I also really like Serpent & Dove I gave it 4 stars last year when I read it.

I’ve never read a high fantasy book and I’m very intimated by books like ACOTAR, but excited to watch this!
What’s great about the ACOTAR series is that it’s very beginner-friendly if you’re new to the fantasy genre. It was the first set of fantasy books I’ve ever read and it wasn’t difficult to understand the world/plot at all! And I know a lot of people new to fantasy feel the same way about that series ☺️
I’ve never read fantasy until ACOTAR and now I’m obsessed and looking for all things fantasy. Give that series a try and you may love it like I did!

That’s nowhere near high fantasy. High fantasy is books like Lord Of The Rings and Wheel of Time
ACOTAR is definitely more romance than fantasy, at least after the first book. it’s a really good mix!

I think you should read the stalking jack the ripper series its also from kerri maniscalco the main character is so powerful and the love interest is so funny! It js a murder mystery/thriller and a bit dark but i love it!
