Joe, I want to tell you how greatful I am that your have shared your story with us. My brother is in jail right now awaiting sentencing. He has been in trouble since we were kids and right now he is fighting his addiction and trying to get out of prison time. We had a rough childhood and he went one way and i went another. You give me hope that some day I could have my brother back and Im so greatful for that.

It's like your about to go for praying hands but then you remember you're not a religious person and instead just do whatever it is you're doing with your hands lol. Good stuff, it's always good to look back at stuff like this with a little humor.
My uncle recently passed from Cancer and I was looking through some of his belongings at his old prison photos - he's rocking a mustache, a classy mullet, his prison issue prescription glasses, Grim Reaper prison tat on his arm, all the while rocking some shorts in front of a cityscape background. The early 90's were strange lol. I remember driving all the way up to the U.P. in Michigan to visit him back in 1993, he looked pretty much just like Nicolas Cage in Con Air with the mullet and the prison issue, long sleeve, light blue button up and he sort of resembled him as well. I miss him more than anything...people always said he looked more like my father than my actually father...he was close like a father, too. As they say, "after the laughter comes tears". RIP Uncle Danny.

The gesture/position of your hands is a sign of balancing energy (or emotion, tension) at the level of your chest (heart zone) and mind.
This hand position is also a praying position (not a coincidence). Also this was used by samurais to calm down their energy (to balance the energy in mind : thoughts, pressure release, concentration/focus on the task/mission) when they were assigned with important tasks : assasination, information gathering, spying etc.
Today is still used when making important negociations, sales and bussines, even if people are not aware of it, it is known to the uncouscious mind.

Hearing ur stories and listening to ur channel i can tell u may or may not have ptsd. I did four years in the marine corps and I understand what good it can do for people like us using youtube as an outlet for other people’s entertainment and story telling. It’s odd sometimes, we miss our crazy fucked up environment even though it was a traumatizing experience
I stumbled on your channel and i love it. Ive only been to jail twice but never prison. I have a cousin doing a 15 year bid, a best friend doing 6, my grandfather did a few years in Huntsville TX, and several more people i know have done time.. You seem like a great person who just made a few bad choices and mistakes. I have so much respect for you. Id love to meet you one day and have a conversation about life and stuff 😊.
