For everyone doing this, get the wrapping glove. The vinyl squeegee will scratch it up no matter how careful you are, you could put a microfiber towel over it but that’s too much work and still end up with some light scratches, just get the glove, bc of the angles and stuff you gotta do a lot of pressing. I did my headlights, on the first one I used just the vinyl squeegee and it came out with some scratches. Then the second one I put a microfiber over it, it’s more work and sometimes you can’t see how far you can squeegee but it came out way better than the first one. I left it on bc eventually the film cures a little and it looks good, until you get up close😂 I gotta redo them eventually but then, I did my fog lights with the glove and it was much easier day and night difference. Now im gonna attempt to do the taillights, shouldn’t be too hard with that wrapping glove. Another idea** you could wrap your license plate with light smoke to get a darker look from the back. It’s not an issue around where I live but I can see how it would be in other places so just be careful. You can always just peel it off too.
