@@klivekussler4496 It's too much a metaphor and a kinda a disrespect to the ones where the Einsteins of music in my opinion, although there's no denying he is extremely talented and got NW to where they are now. Dont wanna sound one of the snowflakes who are butthurt of everything but i couldnt realistically know u didnt mean it literally cz others i see do.
You know what, I get what you are trying to convey and I totally agree. I have no words to eloquently describe Holopainens mastery, genius in his compositions. I'm hanging out so hard from the instrumentals.
True in a way. Einstein was not the only scientific genius, although he became an icon. Holopainen is perhaps one of the best today but there are other extremely talented songwriters.

Tuomas is truly the 'mad scientist' but in the best sense of the phrase. It must be a marvelous feeling suddenly watching the images and ideas coalesce into a framework for a song, then as he said he derives immense pleasure presenting the new material to the rest of the band to see their initial reaction and then pick their professional and creative minds to flesh out the tracks to their finished forms. Tuomas knows what his friends can accomplish and he certainly challenges them to their professional best. It would be a logical step for him to score films, documentaries, TV ect when Nightwish runs its course. But for now hurry up April!
Tuomas has just got a very creative and imaginative mind which is fabulous..
I mean, if someone already did not know, Tuomas is the present time Bach, Mozart, Beethoven or Tchaikovsky.

Horizontally challenged man he’s not even a pimple in the great Jordan Rudess ass, not even an accomplished keyboard player, he’s not recognized as one of the greats by any of his peers either, I like Nightwish music but none of the members except for Kai are virtuosos, Hietala was very big in Finland in the 80's with his brother and with other bands but since he joined NW the Hietala bros never got reunited, listen to some prog to discover the true heirs of the classical composers.
@@alexisaf i actually never understood that comparison to Bach and Mozart, and the mad genius thing.. I mean are people really living in their own nightwish bubble to really think this? The guy did what numerous other successful bands did: He simply found a formula that works, was innovative/different to some extent, was successful in finding ways to reinnovate it while it still sounds like the band, and ran with it. I don't see anything genius or world changing or standards being massively raised in the world of music. NW fans need to get real.

That’s saying something if the top dog says that Floor’s singing hypnotizes him ! I guess the audience or the fans aren’t the only ones that realize there’s something special about Floor ! that when she steps on the stage , the kids/ the old /the animals and everybody pays attention, and becomes mesmerized and hypnotized and everything else, this band is incredible and truly unique💝💝💝
He's talking about her performance specifically on this album though.
He was talking about the way that she is able to tell the story of the lyrics that he wrote. I believe that's her musical theatre TRAINING coming into play. I don't think that's necessarily something special.
Tuomas is a man who will never let real music die. Just one of the many reasons I love Nightwish.
I look more forward to this album with every article and interview.

Honestly im cool with it. Full orchestra is one reason why their drums and guitars get thin sometimes its hard for those to shine through strings, horns and a lot of mid range instruments. "Noise" sounds amazing because there isn't as much clutter in the mix but I don't think its any less "Full" sounding and its still Nightwish with his synth strings he plays and we'll hear more of his piano playing too. So far i'm excited for the album!
Shaun Morin i agree with you. It doesn’t sound like it lacks anything but I do very much love their orchestral songs. The orchestra in The Heart Asks Pleasure First gives me chills every time it kicks in.
@@chrisr9764 Every time the singer changed he changed the bands style as well. The Tarja era was heavy on the operatic and epic "soul" elements, the Anette era had more straightforward singing and strongly paced melody's, and now we are in the Floor era which means more focus on the main instruments and vocals it would seem.
So excited for the new album. Basically it’s part 2 of EFMB and the continuous of human evolution and life. I’m so honored to live in the era of Tuomas and his genius songwriting

I was kinda sad at first about Kai being too busy to drum with Wintersun but he seems like he has really great chemistry and friendship with Tuomas and the rest of Nightwish, and I couldn't be happier for him! Really looking forward to the new album.

Long live Kaaos TV! \m/ But still, watching Tuomas so tired and visibly suffering from a headache, makes me hope someone hugged him and slipped him a bottle of wine and a pillow at the end of this! Now it's more clear than ever how hard working and uncompromising these guys are! And for the sake of their well-being, I really hope they don't push themselves too hard, considering how they've been steadily getting bigger and bigger for nearly 25 years and now even the sky's not the limit anymore. That dedication they mentioned really sets them apart and makes me care even more deeply for them as human beings!

The musicians and vocalists will no doubt change/evolve, but make no mistake..Tuomas is the CPU that pulls all that hardware together into something really, really, really special.
You mean he is the motherboard ? Motherboard is holding components together :)
@@filipstevanovic9932 Nowadays CPU has all the logic and motherboard just has traces and does voltage regulation. Memory, all PCIe slots and M.2 channels all go directly to CPU.
@@MikkoRantalainen I know about SoC (system on a chip) but that’s not cpu that’s chip that has cpu and all the other components. I know the advantages of system on a chip, look at M1 Macs 😁

I just realized I saw the interviewer at a Queen concert a few weeks back when they ended the tour in Tampere. I mean we met and talked and I even got his number since he seemed like a good guy and I sent him some pictures of the concert. Wild to think he has interviewed people like this.
I still live in my own conspiracy that it is "Endless forms most beautiful human nature...." That the next album will somehow continue the sentence.
Wow! no orchestra with the band this time! full orchestral piece from Tuomas! have not fulfilled the full potential of the 3 singers! 3 part harmony on every track! man this one is gonna be Different! long media day. just a small part of the enormous work that goes into an album. whole team giving their all.
I'm actually disappointed about not having orchestra in first 9 songs :( No matter how good they are gonna be, i'd like to have orchestra in though. And also i expected another long masterpiece like The Greatest Show on Earth, but we'll get just long orchestral song...yes, i believe it's gonna be a masterpiece, but cmon, it could be a full song and they could release orchestral version of it like with previous songs
one of my favourite songs from nightwish is from imaginaerum the score-album, so i'm really excited about new instrumentals songs! this is going to be something really unique and beautiful. ✨
