Thanks so very much, Donna. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Funny thing that made me do that little "trick" was because I lost that flower on my table and couldn't find it, then discovered I had laid it on the photo. Blended right in!

Hey Annette....I NEVER tire of seeing a flat blank piece of paper turn into something so beautiful. You are a wonderful teacher Annette. I've never tried flower-shaping before so my plan is to get my other projects finished first (as they are getting out of hand LOL), and then jump into this new-to-me flower shaping technique. Thank you, dear.

Thanks so much for this! Ya got me when you 'picked' the pansy from the photo! I was just planting pansies and I notice that when they're in the light they have a shimmer. I wonder how it would look if a little Wink of Stella was added to the centers. I'm all about trial and error and just playing. Glad to see you're the same. The colored pencil really looks soft and natural. Good choice.
    Have an excellent week!

These are very pretty but they're definitely not pansies. Pansies have that characteristic look to them with 5 petals, two of them being smaller and set behind the larger three. It's not a symmetrical or radial flower. So yes, these are pretty, and I loved all the tips for coloring the paper! But I would have loved to see the petals arranged in a way to actually look like pansies.

Thank you Sophie for the clarification. As a papercrafter, I always do my best but most importantly I like to have fun. If it isn't perfect, I'm still okay with it. I"m sure if you Google it or search here on CZcams, you can find the perfect representation of a pansy by someone else. Thanks for watching.
