    In this episode, we got the one and only Faizul Ridzuan to share his insights about the property industry in Malaysia. Personally from a reader of his book, to almost an employee, then a customer to his company, now a 3rd person point of view trying to understand his perspective of the real estate scene. Very juicy episode as our team tried extremely hard to make it 'clean' for all viewers hahaha;)

    Video ni memang penuh dengan info berharga, thumbs up for sharing 👍. Faizul Ridzuan ni mmg bukan calang-calang dalam industri property, and the way dia share pengalaman dia ni betul-betul memberi inspirasi. Tahniah la pada dia sebab dah berjaya beli banyak properties sebelum 30, bukan semua orang mampu capai pencapaian macam tu.
    The part yang paling catch my attention ialah strategi dia focus beli property murah. Sangat logik sebab property murah lagi senang nak maintain dalam apa jua keadaan ekonomi. Bukannya senang nak come up with a strategy like that.
    Dan satu lagi yg sy appreciate pasal Faizul ni ialah dia ada visi untuk pasaran property. Dia nak harga property naik tapi still mampu milik, bukan semua orang ada visi macam ni untuk industri diaorang. It's a breath of fresh air to hear someone talk about affordable homes, especially in these tough times.
    Sy ada soalan ni, apa pandangan u pasal foreign investment dalam property market Malaysia? Rasa-rasa berbaloi ke untuk foreigner invest sini? Would love to hear your thoughts.

    What an inspiring podcast.
    I attended a seminar conducted by FR, it was in Bahasa and I tak faham most of the content except the main points on the slides. Didn't sign up as the target audience was for Malaysians looking for property in KL area.

    This podcast with FR is long overdue la 😂 so much value already just from the start!
    Fk i really cough hearing 10% and max 15 years in Indonesia!
    I've also heard in Korea people need to take a loan for the rental deposit, so on top of paying the rental monthly, there's also repayment for that loan of rental deposit every month.
    Yeah after learning from FR, nowadays these agents also susah la want sell me property
    *** i also want to "settle behind" ✋✋😂😂

    Upcoming trend is where singapore place their workers in malaysia. a lot of them now. remotely working in malaysia and fly in to singapore once a week or month. i had a vision where it is not possible that Kuala Lumpur can become like Tokyo one day, grab now or never.

    which country that embark on long term depreciation of its own currency against its trading partner and actually do better after 30 - 40 years? anyone knows this do advice. thanks!

      @@mchee888 u ddint specify against what currency,it still fulfills your question.On its own ,US M1,M2,M3 supply have been keep going up to in that context is depreciating.Comparing US with any other currencies may make it look like its not but its due to US is the reserve currency and many other coutries park their resesrve in the US as well

      We don’t have to go the path of HK with 140sq ft. We have plenty of land in Malaysia. Shoebox with KL view, gym , pool is better than more space? If you are doing “nation” building sort to speak, going down to shoebox will cause even lower marriage and fertility rate. I am agreeing to all capitalist point of view of real estate from him (that there is market demand for small units) however not the altruistic part of building nation for better living. The higher educated of the society, causes lower marriage is somewhat correlated (because educated can find economic activities in city where real estate is expensive) but not the entire reason. It is more of cost of living which include real estate cost that is detering marriage. I have no problem pushing new smaller product to market as market demand but please don’t try selling it and sound altruistic like helping the poor get into housing market. They are paying market price for smaller sizes in comparison to abundance of space previous generation.

      He’s the typical conman and also the reason why Msia is stuck in the middle income trap. Instead contributing to society by further specializing in software engineering, he chose to chase quick money by being a middleman who adds no incremental value to society and the country. He could have been a human capital in a rather in-demand field these days

      But we have to always listen from the other side. It was due to their overwhelming response with their products, therefore they invested a lot on technology. Personally, I think it's okay but maybe not for everyone.

      Well it’s a personal mission of his since he explained that he came from similar background. But in reality, when some goes up the top, some will go down the income scale by default.
      Then my question is why not help them because no one else is interested to help at all.
