- In this episode I conclude with a big bang of orchid hauling from one of my favorite locations to shop at in Apopka, Florida. This grand finale is from none other than Orchids In Bloom nurseries. Owner Pam Waters and Jim Krull of Krull- Smith have established a mind-blowing orchid empire. In my recent visit I decided to take home some incredible selections of orchids and some rare finds as well. Also some great gifts given to me for birthday while visiting. This haul is EPIC! Wow!! Fantastic haul!! I have the Sol Taino orchid and the Thompsoniana X violacea one, both also from Pam, and they are amazing!! You're gonna love them! Pam said the Sol Taino hybrid comes from Puerto Rico, hence the name. Also that Paphiopedilum at the end was breathtaking!!! So amazing with that white butterfly going across it. I think that's a sign that it should be your signature orchid!!

It’s just perfect. The butterfly was perfect in the end. I always think of my mom when I see a white butterfly. 🤍

Hey Justine! I gotta say I love my Talumnia that we picked together for the mount you made me. It looks adorable. And yes, I’m being way more selective. We are in the process of expanding so I want to only get what I want in my collection. We tend to buy orchids sometimes out of impulse. 😎

its great that you gave back too yourself because you do a fantastic job at making these videos for us to enjoy, not only that you do a great job at plant husbandry! your plants are top notch with care. its not easy growing plants in general, especially orchids, to the look or level that you do. its why a lot of orchid suppliers and growers give you orchids, because they know you will cherish and take care of them the way you should and grow them to their potential and that you really do appreciate the gifts. keep being you, your energy is great!!

That yellow Phal is the sunniest yellow Phal that has ever graced my eyes. I normally prefer darker yellows, but that is an exception I'd make without hesitation.

I have about 27 orchids and cactus and some other plants. I would like some suggestions on how do you take care of them all? I enjoy them and I enjoy taking care of them, but it’s so time consuming. I didn’t get to all of them on my day off yesterday and I feel bad. I’m think if I could work a system that would make it easier like one section one day and another the next? I’m even rethink about Redland show, because I think I reached my limit.

I was so disappointed to learn that the yellow with white edge phaleanopsis did not have a name. I live in another country and would import those by the tens for my garden but there is no chance of getting the proper permit without being identiffied. Overall, tho, the presentation was excellent and greatly appreciated, as always.

We met 18 years ago in South Beach at an outdoor cafe. He was invited to sit at our table by a friend of mine who knew him. Now the crazy part about this was that the friend was my ex which we had stayed friends after the breakup. He realized I was interested in Luíz and he did everything possible for me to end up sitting next to Luíz. We talked for a while and exchanged numbers. The following day we spent the day just hanging out. We both were hooked. 18 years later we love each other even more so. ❤️

Lol! You do realize kids still wear patchouli oil today. I remember smelling a girl in the hallway as she walked by. I asked her and she said Dark Wood Patchouli! Ever since I’ve loved it.
@@naturenel I wore a lot of Coty Wild Musk Oil. I live in rural Oregon, so I think I am kind of out of touch with what the kids are wearing today. Glad patchouli is still being worn, makes me happy..
