Oooo the beachy waves for sure. I'm 64 natural white hair, fine but lots of it. Usually put on plaits overnight to get waves and add a bot of coconut oil to any frizz. Great vid thanks ❤

Try out the first for yourself! It is easy to execute with a blowout brush. You could also consider getting the volume stamping tool. That tool is just insane for fine hair. It works so well.
I have super wavy frizzy hair if I don't tame it.
I'm always putting my hair up or back for work & summer.

I’ve done this updo once I saw it on Kim Kardashian I just do a big high ponytail n then I pin down the ends to make it look like a bun then I have my long bangs in the front it’s great for summer when it’s hot outside ❤ it looks great on you

Yes! I can absolutely do that. Next time I do a hair tutorial like this, I will do it on my blonde mannequin. I was going to lighten my hair just so that the updos show up better on camera but my hair is so healthy, I can't bring myself to do it. My hair hates lightener. Mannequin head it is!

Gabi! You and I have the same hair!! Fine, porous, wavy/curly dark and shoulder-length. Mine gets SO damaged. I’ve sworn off highlighting my hair because I’m trying to grow it long and healthy, and wear my natural curls and waves. Last round of lightening completely killed my curls and it has taken a lot of work to get them back!
Same with me! We do have identical hair! I haven't highlighted my hair at all in a year and a half! I like it lighter but I can't bring myself to do it again. It is just SO damaging! Lightener also completely ruins my curls. I am filming a curly hair diffusing tutorial very shortly. I'm super excited to show you that.

They're all really pretty but I especially love the half up look, unfortunately my hair is too thin to wear it like that.
I like all the styles! I have a good amount of wavy fine hair that air dries like yours. I can get a beachy wave, but it’s faster to do a blow out and I love my TYMO brush dryer. An up-do, is so pretty straight on, but the back of my head is flat (I don’t think Mom turned me much when I was in the crib - lol) and the hair at the nape and just above is thin and wirey. I have a ton of hair at the crown, but not the back of my head so it is hard to create volume to disguise how flat it is regardless of back combing or product. But…I can do a half up, half down style, so the 3rd look will work and maybe I can try the messy bun as a half up style.
Why don't you try getting the volume stamping tool on Amazon (or the Voloom Rootie)? That may be exactly what you need to round out the back if you have a little flatness there. Also, I laughed out loud at your comment about not getting turned in the crib HAHA.
My hair is similar in texture to yours when I air dry. Some days I just don’t want to dry it. So, do you have a fav product to use for an air dried look? Love your tips and tricks!

Beautiful styles, but I am confused on the updo. You created one ponytail with the top section, then when you made the second ponytail, where did that go? Does it include the first? Is it behind it? And when you wrap it, is the first one a part of that wrap? Do you have a more detailed version on another platform? Also, is there any difference if you have a side part instead of down the middle?

The key is to blow your hair out. You will have next to no flyaways if you prep the hair properly before you put it up.
When I saw the side by side after using the volume heat tool, I whispered to myself “ooh that side can hold so many secrets” 😂

I tried the blow out with my installer. Did not use the Velcro curlers because I ran out of time. It looked great but didn’t last the night. Did it to go to the movies.

Hi Gabi! Do you know why most blow out brushes are oval and not round? I know dry bar makes a round one and was wondering if it would be better than my oval Revelon.

Unfortunately I never have enough to put it up like that super cute bun you got going on (at least not without a billion bobby pins and having it still look like it's melting after a couple hours), but otherwise it's the best of both worlds. Short enough to not be in the way and too hot, but long enough to feel long and girly. Love my short hair too (and long hair on other people) but the mid length is where it's at for me :)
I am a long hair, thin, textured woman. I love watching your videos. You gave me so many tips. My favorite was the wavy. I just do the very top layers and I keep the under layers straight for body and it makes my hair look fuller. I’m gonna try the updo today and find you on TikTok also. CZcams is by far my favorite but if I’m in line at the grocery store, I use TikTok.
Yes I do the same sometimes and just curl the very top of my head. It looks really good actually (especially if your hair is at a bob length or shorter). I often slightly wave those bottom layers with a straightener by rocking the iron as I move down the head. Thanks for watching and for following me on TIKTOK. I have started putting a little more effort there because I was neglecting it before. I don't have a lot of followers on there but it's fun to make some shorter form content too.

I wish there was an alternative to velcro rollers for volume. My hair is also textured, but it is super coarse and the rollers get "stuck," and I don't think there are healthy for my hair type.
I love this video, it's perfect for my shoulder length moderately wavy but thin hair. I do have a question about your highlights - I have NEVER had a stylist that can give me that dark caramely color! For 25 years I have asked for that color, but come out with bright blonde every time. Do you have any tips or advice I can give my stylist so my highlights don't look so light? My base color is a chocolate brown, and blonde highlights look so fake.
I totally understand because my highlights always come out too light too and I always end up toning them at home. I haven't dyed my hair in over a year and a half so they are completely grown out but I can't bring myself to do it again because it melts my hair. I tone my hair to a 7NA. It is a dark cool-based blonde/light brown. Tell your stylist that you want them to be a level 7 and not lighter. That should do the trick. Hi Gabby - would this be a good 'sequence of 'do's' to carry out on days between washes? I.e. the volume blowout the first day (maybe without the spray), then the beach waves the 2nd day, then the half up, then the bun? Just wondering if putting the spray in on day 1 would interfere with doing the waves on day 2, or if it might actually help the day 2 'do to go in better? I try to go at least 3 days between washes.
