- Vacations are supposed to be fun and relaxing, but these trips were anything but enjoyable. One woman went to bed at a popular resort and woke up covered in bed bug bites. Another woman's nightmare started when she got home from vacation and found as many as 10 strangers living in her house. I wouldn't have a kid like that in the first place! That would have been nipped in the bud at first try. One of my boys scratched the other with his jagged nails. Those nails were clipped at first cry. I forgot that story but my niece remembered it clear as day 23 yrs ago. She was scared bc no one disciplined any one at that time.
I have autism (which wasn’t diagnosed until late) and I still how to behave properly.

Behavioral issues or not, you find ways to help your child calm down. If you let him run amok, then he's the boss of you and not the other way around. I'm a preschool teacher, and I hate it when parents baby their children to the point of refusing to discipline them or teach them how to behave or calm themselves down. I do my best to teach them, but if the parents aren't involving themselves in that teaching, then it's not going anywhere.

When I was a kid, I was never babied by my parents, if you did something wrong, you got discipline no matter what. I would get the old switch. My family has used the switch as a punishment for a long time. Today, I just see kids do horrible things and get off scot free with a, “don’t do that honey.” What I would get is, “go outside and pick your switch.” And I am not very old, I was born in 2010. Same with the paddle, I think schools should be allowed to use the paddle as a punishment again.

edit; okay um for everyone in the replies asking about what happened after this, we winded up suing & pressing charges against them for not allowing us to get our money back. we winded up being paid by the owners the original amount.

As someone who suffered from Bed bugs, I can relate to the first one and it wasn't very fun...I suffered for about an year or something and I was covered in many bed bugs bites and when I try to snatch them, They get way worse and they were also on the carpet which made them hard to get rid of...To the point, My mom and dad bought me and my family a cream to get rid of the bites and this really worked but sometimes, I go in water they appear right back again for no reason...I don't know just wanted to share but I'm alright now!
The problem with screaming children on planes (especially ones with behavior issues) is if he was kicked off the plane there would be people mad at the airline company for kicking him off. But if the kid was not kicked off of the plane then the people would ALSO be mad at both the airline company and the kid.

The bed bug bites gives me chills. Tbh, any bites on someone gives me chills through my bones. Just recently like a couple months ago when I left for university, I got 3 mosquito bites and it was itchy. I do have mosquitos at my home but the Gardner’s put mosquito spray every Monday so that y I was nvr used to it.

If I did this on a plane as a child, my Mom would have hauled me to the on board bathroom and spanked my backside along with a good "talking to" about how screaming like that is not being considerate of others on the plane and if I didn't "shape up" (i.e. change my behavior for the better) I wouldn't be allowed (for example) to go swimming when we arrived at our destination. I'll be the first to admit though from what I've heard I was quite the handful as a child but, that doesn't mean I was allowed to get away with bad behavior and making poor choices! I had boundaries/rules/structure through out my childhood because that's how MY parents were raised. Step out of line or have bad behavior...You got disciplined! It's one of the ways I learned what behavior was acceptable and what wasn't. If I would start having a tantrum or acting up in a store, we'd leave because throwing a tantrum or acting up in a store wasn't acceptable behavior in a public place!

omg the first one with the bed bugs sort of happened to me. Me and my family arrive in Mexico, Cancun at night, and check into our hotel (Crown Paradise) And the first room has cockroaches. My dad argues with the front desk and they give us a new room that thankfully doesn't have cockroaches in it.
I actually just flew in from Cancun Mexico yesterday and the room was fine🤷♀️

The couple that went to Hawaii were actually pretty far from the actual eruption. They were on a boat that was viewing the lava entering the ocean. What they experienced was actually the hot lava hitting the cold water of the ocean that caused an explosion spewing lava at the tour boat.
I met my ex wife while on vacation, biggest disaster of my life.

I feel bad for the person with all the bites. A couple weeks ago I went camping inside a yurt with my friend and they had a bunkbed that we both slept on. When I came home, I started to notice my legs getting itchy and noticed I had like 15 bites all over my legs. I tried searching up all kinds of things to figure out what bit me while I was sleeping, and I'm 99% sure that they were bedbugs. The bites stayed on my legs for like 2-3 weeks. They're really annoying to have.

Me and my family had our own vacation disaster in Gatlinburg when some people smashed our passenger side window, and took our hiking stuff from our car. Every time when someone brings it up, I just say “Let’s not talk about that. Okay?”

The music festival attendees got scammed hard. If something sounds too good to be true, then it is. They had to learn the hard way not to fall for scams. They charged $12,000 for that specific reason: to scam some unsuspecting people.
That's why you should always check the mattress for bed bugs. I have stayed in some not so fancy hotels to put it nicely and luckily never had to deal with bed bugs.
