  • In this episode, we track down Mzee Alexander Obiri to his home in Otweyo village, Riana Ward in Bonchari Sub County, Kisii County where he tells us more about the origin of the Abagusii community and explains on the infamous Chiburi or hideout holes for the Abagusii in Otweyo.
He tells us that Otweyo Village in Bonchari is not the cradle land for the Abagusii community after their migration from Goye Bay (Inani ria Nyagoye - Ekerubo enerwa)
The Village is known for having Chiburi (hideout holes) after the Abagusii inhabitants settled there from Matintira at the present Riana Ward, where they made a stop over from Manga Hills.
