@Tanvir Ahmed you guys can use affinity designer. I can run it on a 4 gb ram laptop (its as good as Illustrator and its only 50$)

How you learning and what are you learning?
If you are really interested in it, I would highly suggest investing in your education and get a degree in communications. You wouldn’t get the same quality of knowledge or skills doing one of those eight week teach yourself programs you see online. Also as someone who does design, this video gives you a bit of an idea on what it’s like but not really; for example it’s a good idea to do 50-100 sketches of a logo design not just the first sixteen that pops up in your head and before refining your design digitally you would get feedback or speak to the client etc.

You don’t have to know.
I think to be a graphic designer, you need basic sketching/drawing skills, but it's a skill you learn and develop with time and hard work, like everything. Don't give up and work on what's out of your comfort zone, it will definitely make a stronger and better worker ☺

The amount of times I have asked "Do you have a logo I can use?" I always respond to "Sure do!" very skeptically, because 90% of the time, its always a 100x100px screenshot off a phone.
Or they pay someone to save their grainy jpg in illustrator just so they can say they have an Ai file

This was a really interesting video for me. Being a graphic designer is what I want to be one day
I like the various types of sketches you drew at the beginning. And the final logo is also so good. I didn't expect it you drew the circle (head) at the end.
biggest part missing was the client telling you to make something 5% bigger. No actually 5% smaller. and make the text all lower case, sorry I prefer Title case etc. :)

Literally just had a client tell me to change the words, then change it back, and then change it again, and finally change it back. Damn I wish I even liked the work I do for them, its all basic and mainstream! No one wants something unique and different.

i'm a graphic design student. i've already done with my final year project few months ago but ngl i kind of lost all my confidence throughout the process and until now ( i'm afraid to make a design) because my skills are not that great, compare to other students, theirs are better. most of the time i can imagine what i want to do but i can't make it. it's quite hard. now, i'm trying to gain my confidence back so i can make more designs in the future but i'm still afraid. hopefully i'll be better soon since im gonna start my internship later, i dont want what im feeling right now to effect me later on. Also, thank you for this video, it somehow helps me a little bit :)

Lol, in real life, like mine, you need to draw 3-4 logos, 2 flyers, some poster, and a web site design at the same time. Also brainstorm to find new clients.

@Roman H pleasing other people is pretty easy actually in design. Just need to make them feel as if they are in control. Give them options, and roll with the punches.

@@holyshiet787 bcoz not every day u can find a client for logo design. In real life a logo cost is 50-100€, so, in that case, my average earning in month only with logo is 250-300€, and i need more u know

Ui anr ux designing requires to code and animation takes alooott patience and experience to even start.
Good thing is you can even learn all of them but if you want to focus on one thing, then it depends on what you want to start if you're into 3d modeling and animation start learning blender right now.
UI and UX design would require to start coring and graphic designing you would require to learn illustrator and Photoshop

When I saw this video I was in my first year studying design. I was already related to this but I was afraid to choose it as a profession. I lost a bit of enthusiasm in this process, but seeing this again reminded me of why I chose it, I'm currently in my second year of graphic design and don't regret it. Thank you!

To be fair, us artists barely get any sleep. And the sleep we do get, is normally ruined by over thinking mistakes in our art, or if the client isn't going to like the final product, finding the next client, and self-marketing.
