The goal of the category is to collect every item. Losing the item is permitted, since currency items (like the gold ring, silver coins, etc.) must be used, and it is faster to sacrifice the crown and teleport to New Babe+. Major thanks to DevilSquirrel for making the TAS tool and for their work on the Any%, New Babe+, and Ghost of the Babe TAS, which were referenced to make this TAS. There are still lots of the improvements that can be made to this. A skip in Bog was recently found (right before I released this) that skips half of the area. Also language differences should most likely be faster. Other minor things here and there I'm sure can also be optimized, but I wanted to showcase the category to potentially generate interest in RTA runs of it. - Hry

The fly section took ages and that was with a bot doing it basically perfectly, I can’t imagine putting myself through that

I was unaware of this dlc full of hidden ghost bridge bs trickery until now, I’d only seen the main game. Anyone who actually beats this on their own is a certified masochist in my eyes.
The TAS doesn’t use it for obvious reasons, but normally there are mushrooms you can stand on to see where to go, and memorize it from there
Jump King is a good game not because it is challenging. It is also because each screen is a beautiful work of art.

I noticed that there were places in each part of the hidden kingdom where you could stay to see the true hidden kingdom. I think you just need to stay there then memorize. It's just that he memorized it already that's why he didn't go and stay there.

There's red shrooms there, if you step on them, hidden blocks reveal themselves.

This is pretty awesome! Also not sure why I never realized how good the soundtrack to this game is. I am wondering, though, if any person has actually attempted this category in real time... it would be, of course, one of the most brutal runs ever, but that doesn't seem to stop people much...
Edit: I just found an RTA run from last year, 57:09! It was even more impressive to watch knowing it was an actual human doing it since they did fall a few times.

The ending saxophone music is one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard. Jump Screen has my most favorite ending screen in any game I ever saw.

@@ace-qq8rx At 21:28, it's possible to do a series of very precise jumps to set yourself up falling down into Bog. Doing so lets you land pretty high up in the area, much more than intended.

Seeing someone falling through several screens in this game is always incredibly entertaining. The backgrounds change so fast and the scenery is so disjointed that it looks like some montage of a time lapse.

Best part of the run was where it used jump rapidly to move left and right instead of just move left and right

It's a100% Speedrun so he's hitting certain areas (like the areas with the birds) to get the items at the end. I think that's about it.
At 8:42 he jumps right then go back on left and go back on right on a higher plateform.

Even though this is played by a bot, still amazing that you can tell a computer how to play this game.
This is a TAS, aka a Tool Assisted Speedrun. While the inputs are fed in by a program when it comes time to see the whole thing, what inputs to do are determined by a human.
Think of it like a music box. A machine is playing the music, but what notes come when was designed by a human.

It is just a Tool assisted speedrun, litteraly wrote in title/description. It's also a common thing used in the Speedrunning community.
So yeah this run is not valid in SRC because of the TAS usage, and this isn't "cheat" either. This guy probably spent dozens and dozens of hours for this 30 min TAS run..

Im late but this is a TAS, which means everything here is done by a robot and so precise its nearly impossible to be done by any human. The lore basically is theres this big journey to the top, where the babe waits you. same for dlcs
