The year is 2008 and Liverpool are handed a home tie in the FA Cup 4th Round against non-league side Havant & Waterlooville. The match didn't go according to plan as Havant & Waterlooville took the lead twice at Anfield, although, they weren't able to hold on as Liverpool eventually won 5-2.

3:18 "Port Vole"? Reminds me of WH being drawn away to them a long time ago when I even went to WH away matches. It struck me that I'd no idea where Port Vale was. I sometimes mixed up places like Rochdale and Rotherham and was perhaps a bit vague about places like Walsall or Mansfield but I thought I knew more or less where everywhere was - but I was wrong. Where on earth was Port Vale? Where would we have to go? North or south? East or west? (Maybe not east since Southend were probably the only league team in that direction.) I can't remember how I found out, but we got there. (You couldn't google things back then but you can now: 13 Jan 1973 WH won 1-0.)

I remember my local team here from the Faroes played Manchester City in europe, man city won the first one up here 5-0, thats all well and good, one of the man city supporters ended up in the hospital up here because his appendix got infected or something and he had to have it removed and so my team flew the supporter home when they went down there to play the return fixture, at half time, it was 0-0 and in very good gesture, the man city supporters stood up and applauded my team for not conceding a goal in 45 minutes. What you have to remember is that man city are top professionals, my local team was made up of men that all had "real jobs" on the side. their job wasn't to play football. it was just so much fun, even if they did lose 7-0 in total.
