    Panning aerial shot of a fishing town. L/S looking down a steep street on to the harbour. L/S of boats in harbour preparing to leave for the fishing grounds. M/S of man on deck of a fishing boat mending a net. Two men walk towards the camera down a steep street. They are joined by another man who comes out of a doorway.
    C/U of a man coming out of his house and kissing his wife on the doorstep. L/S of them kissing outside the house. He beckons the other three men and they walk along together watched by the kissing man's wife and mother (or mother-in-law!) The men walk along the quayside then climb down steps to the boat. They are all wearing suits so probably dressed up for the filming. Lots of people stand around and watch. They climb aboard their boat.
    High angle shot of several fishing boats. C/U of hands untying a rope. L/S of the boat moving away from the quayside. Shots of another boat filmed from the moving boat.     Good C/Us of bait being attached to hooks. Two men lower buoy over the side. The lines with bait attached are thrown over the side. A group of six men work together to get the lines in the water.     Shot over the side of the boat as fish are pulled in. C/Us of the fish which are caught. Large pile of fish on deck. A monster fish with a very large mouth is brought in. Fish are of different types including rays, skates etc. Man stands in tank of fish on deck and sorts them. M/S of the buoys and flag which mark the end of the line. Various shots of the men at work.
    L/Ss of the boat returning to port (St Michael's Mount seen in background - SL). M/S of baskets being lifted from the hold from above. Men work together to haul the fish off the boat and on to the quayside. Men stand on the quayside and pour fish from baskets into buckets. Extreme C/U of fish in baskets slipping and sliding. More shots of fish being put in bucket. Truck with buckets on board drives off followed by a young boy. L/S of crowd of people waiting at the fish markets.
    Interior of market, fish are slung around by men in waterproofs. C/U of seagulls picking around the debris. M/S of large fish being loaded into baskets. High angle shot of people standing around at the market. Deals are being made. Man in suit talks to men around him with pencil and paper in hand. C/U of a pile of lobsters or langoustines. Man picks them up two at a time. C/U of group of men in overalls talking about the catch. Man with pipe talks animatedly and waves his finger. C/U of lobster and crab. L/S of group of fishing boats.
