    I went to Fanuc in Aruban Hills MI and I hold mig, spot, and pick and place training, But I went in a different direction in PLC PAC RSLogix 5000 old PLC 5,4,3,2, SLC 500, Factory Talk View Studio, Siemens S7 300, TIA Portal 215 220, WinCC and pick place ABB, Fanuc, Kuka, Motor Man Comau C5G robots, I once was a weld tech so your videos are coming back to me in my day it was both ABB and Fanuc mig welding robots, Robot are ever where in Industries

    Do robotic welder programmers need to be certified in robotic welding? Like a welder doing a 3g vertical test. If so can yo o a video showing how someone would get certified.

    • @TVWeld
      @TVWeld  Před 6 lety +1

      The programmers do not. They will certify the robot as well as the process.

    How about the arc end settings? Just data when on the arc end line?
    Why would the wire reverse when trying to run a program and it goes to arc file line and wire starts reversing.

    Hello Brent, can you show a video with top to bottom welding with weave on a MOTOMAN robot? Their tech support over the phone was not helpful. I know how to do on a Panasonic robot easily using reference points. Thank you

    Hey Brent, great content. I have an arcmate 100i that when you go to weld enable and it moves to that point to start welding, the wire retracts rather than feeds out. Any idea what may be going on? It's an install of a previously ran machine from another shop. Thanks

    • @TVWeld
      @TVWeld  Před 5 lety +2

      No idea why it would do that. I would probably call Lincoln Electric's robotics division and see if anyone there has heard of that. It could be something simple.

    Hi brent.i have a ABB 6400 i am still guessing about my weld with my MiG aluminum weld. i do (.165 inches tube) hope to give an advice from you what is the best parameter with it.thanks brent.

    • @TVWeld
      @TVWeld  Před 5 lety

      That's fairly thin. Stuff that thin usually gets welded on a pulse or pulse on pulse mode. Does your robot have those capabilities? There is even AC modes out now for welding aluminum.

    • @clandavidganibo
      @clandavidganibo Před 5 lety

      Yah we have a pulse mode actually that is my settings right now.i was trying the Mig settings.but i have a good weld with Pulse settings but i cant get the pinitration.

    • @TVWeld
      @TVWeld  Před 5 lety

      Is it just in the beginning of the weld? Usually with pulse modes the trouble with penetration is in the beginning. That's why a lot of the machines have enabled you to manipulate a hot start. If it's in the whole weld you could try: trailing angle with torch, slower travel speed, increase wire feed/volts, or maybe take it out of pulse.

    Hi, my robot is weaving up and down instead 90 degrees as it's shows in the weaving parameters, any idea why is doing that?

    • @TVWeld
      @TVWeld  Před rokem

      I feel like that happened to me at one point. Two things come to mind. The first is are you in step mode? Step will exaggerate the weave. Run it at 100% out of step and see if it goes away. The second is when is the last time you changed your batteries? If you don't change your batteries your robot will kind of lose its mind. Make sure your robot is on when you change them or it will erase the robots memory!

    • @gustavoa4607
      @gustavoa4607 Před 6 měsíci +1

      @@TVWeld I just changed the batteries but still it doesn't work, the weaving is going up and down instead going perpendicular to the welding direction. I try going without step mode but nothing changed.

      @@gustavoa4607 I wonder if the batteries went dead? Can you test the old batteries and see if they had any juice on them?
