It’s amazing how much memories this channel has brought for so many people! You were a huge inspiration for a lot of people in the Algicosathlon community! Even though most people, including me, would have liked for this channel to continue, I honestly just hope you good luck on your classes! Goodbye, NotScotish! It honestly was fun watching your algo, and you completed it, which is even better. You have a great ending to most of the characters' storylines, with Frost and Fury or without. Demotivation hits me hard, and I'm about to get into a similar position that you are in (thinking about my career, etc), but really- I think that this is a good decision. Take it from me, doing too many things at the same time can get you really stressed. Goodbye NotScotish, suppose we'll meet each other again at some point (whether or not here or in the far future...)

I am glad that you are focusing on your real self, rather than trying to work on an unrealistic movie that would only add heaps more stress. As someone who also takes AP classes, I can confidently say, you would NOT have time to work on videos and school at the same time. AP is hard, and I 100% understand where your coming from. (Also, I wish you the best of luck with your classes!)
Onto algodoo.. Ever since I quit, I rarely think about the community that I was active in for over 2 years. Mostly because I realized that there are better things in life than watching colors compete in randomized challenges. This stuff got SUPER repetitive to me, and to be honest, my algodoo courses were always super lazy because I never wanted to work on it. I barely ever even wanted to work on skits, which were my favorite part of making the videos. The community had its ups and downs (mostly downs for me :/ ) but it’s also because everyone was young. I was in 7th grade when I made my first algicosathlon (3rd grade for marble races, but we don’t talk about that) and I can confidently say, I’ve grown up. I don’t enjoy the same things I used to, and forcing myself to like the things I used to would take away from stuff I could really be enjoying now. For example, I saw you have gotten into swimming, which is awesome! I personally have gotten into weight lifting, and I love it!
Finally, I am on the same page as you. I don’t want to give up my channel, because I love making videos, but it can be difficult. Find something you enjoy doing, and post it if you want! That’s what I plan on doing soon once I have the confidence to share my face on CZcams haha.. Focus on school, but don’t stress yourself over it, enjoy life too. ❤

Yup. The repetition of making these videos really got the best of me. After making S2, the dopamine surge I initially felt went dry and is partially why it took me so long to gather the motivation to make this video.

To think that from 9:27 came fifty of the most enjoyable animations and videos I have ever watched, truly your journey NS, was incredible. The fact that in only 2 1/2 years you went from having 0 understanding to making the most knowledgeable (for lack of a better term) skits is crazy. In Algicosathlon, you made 30 colours represented by characters have personalities like a normal human being. Anyone can do that, but not many can do it well. You even wanted to make an entire movie, just about 30 (or more) figments of your imagination made up of circles and rectangles (that sounds kinda negative but it's not meant to be).
And all of this came from using Google Slides. You turned ordinary software into a thing of beauty.
I really hope that you can overcome the problems that are plaguing you, and that you can return to regular uploads, even if it's just a simple series of countryball animations, or a few Algicosathlon Shorts now and then. But for now, remember that there will never be a journey quite as extraordinary as yours.

Anyways, you gave us joy, interests and unique reactions to your algicosathlon you made. The fanbase you've developed into making algicosathlon was just unique, it takes a lot of practice, concentration, dedication and the interest to actual develop this true and this breathtaking fanbase you made. We are certainly proud of what you did for us. You're actually one of my favorite and the best algotubers in this algo community and in hence we'll NEVER forget you and the videos you made. I can understand this very well that you have a long life and a busy life to continue leading and in fact I was ruminating the fact that you'll leave your algodoo community to focus on something important you have and I thought about this a few days after S2 day 30. Oh yeah and about this discord thing, Im planning to download discord and have a new discord account and a server actually. But discord is not what's important here, something to understand here is that sometimes you have to leave what you love to do or what you're capable of. Sometimes you have something that is more important to do although it's tedious. If you are doing algodoo, then at the same time you're studying and you don't have enough time for anything else. This is what I call simultaneous work. I mean for you, you have been stressed out by doing simultaneous work so you had to expose something and do the work required with full dedication. I can feel this pressure on you at your teenage but it's better to do what's more manditory to make life easier and quicker. Not only life but to make better economics, better things required for a person. You know what I mean. And I remember explaining you about the childhood thing, so yeah keep those facts or better word myths, to yourself. 🙂😅
Alright then, I'll desperately miss you. Thank you for making our 3 years an amazing journey and thanks to your algicosathlon. We are really looking forward to see what you can really do. Have a wonderful adulthood journey although you're 16 but still. This algo community will NEVER forget you, I can guarantee this and I will never forget you no matter what. I have been an avid fan of NS for a long time already, and it’s great to hear from him again. This video… was shocking to see, especially after coming back home from 5+ hours of going places. But for the most part it was great having an outstanding Algotuber like NS on our side for years to come.
What has impressed me the most about NS’ persona however was that he is very resilient and always stays true to himself even in the most difficult situations and contingencies. No matter how rocky his journey to becoming one of the most renowned Algotubers became, he always jumped back and carried on with whatever his mind was set upon. It’s easy to say that NS is logical, as he admitted to saying that juggling both Frost and Fury’s production and school matters while promising Frost and Fury’s release on December was unrealistic, and apologizing to his fans for hyping up something that wouldn’t even see the light of day. I can also appreciate how NotScotish stayed so calm and understanding whenever mass hysteria sprouted upon his fans. He would remain firm and dignified in his words and keep depravement and disconcertment under control by walking into their shoes and viewing the series and characters in their very own eyes, and allowing himself and his audience to reconcile. And it is just amazing how NS did not concede defeat when there were bouts of innumerable comments criticizing his previous gaffes and flaws. Instead, he saw them as helpful advice and used them to improve his content. I can definitely see why many see him as the greatest Algotuber of all time. His honesty and undying devotion to his channel and fans have awarded him with dozens of admirers from all around the world, and that’s not all I have to say…

You've made a big era that changed the community, and although it may or may not be the best change, we still have lots of fun talking to you and watching your content. I can definitely see the improvement in your series overtime, and even though you're not working on algodoo anymore, we can still support you no matter what!
I completely understand why you are quitting, life is getting harder and harder each year. When you say that you planned on working on Frost and Fury but a whole bunch of assignments and projects pile up on you, it was relatable to me and some others, I also couldn't make my videos due to those assignments and projects lol. It's okay to take breaks after all, real life problems are more important than making content on CZcams, and we know that.
Even if we will miss watching your videos, we will be SUPER PROUD when you reached your dreams and goals and become successful in life! Keep going NS, you can do it! Remember to drink water, eat healthy, and never give up!

Honestly, I'm kinda happy and sad at the same time for your departure, NS. My happiness comes from the fact that your algicosathlon series had a bad influence on the algo community, which is why I unsubscribed after some time when I got more understanding of stuff. And I get it how you have low event ideas, due to bad scripting, as I saw like five races and 2 events similar to each other, but that's because you won't brainstorm good stuff due to homework.
For the contrary, I was hoping that Frost and Fury would redeem from the bad influence, and I was kinda sad it's gone. Also, another reason why I'm also sad is because some events were well detailed, which inspired me to think of more detailed events and skits. It still wasn't enough to redeem my detestment of you.
Welp, who knows? he might come back after notscotish has finished school, and into college. Sure, there's more work in college, but you are able to multitask there more easily than in school. Good luck NS on your new life.

Yo NotScotish! Obviously y'all know who I am (maybe not everyone), so, yeah, Apocon here. Sorry for being late, and, yeah, go enjoy your life and do the cool things you need to do. The community has its highlights, but also really bad problems that can't be easily solved, and it's pretty understandable that you quit. It's better for your health overall.
I didn't love or hate every single part of your channel, and we didn't even bond so much aside from me being a mod in the server, but if there's one thing i know about you is that you had an awesome commitment to your viewers, and always tried to get their opinions and ideas into your show. That's a great trait, use it in other areas of your life, please.
So yeah... perhaps this is our last interaction, but i won't forget about your moments in the channel. I'm not as active right now as i was in the Algodoo servers back in 2020-21, but if you need me, you got a helpin' hand.
