I would say 4bhk of Laburnum is better value for money since it just costs 1.5 to 1.7L per month rent for about 4400 sq ft and about 2 to 2.5L for 6000 sq ft I think, with better arranged living areas (but no comparable view), having been to both Magnolias and Laburnum. Laburnum has a much bigger kitchen for 4bhk, larger bedrooms with bigger attached balconies (but the main balcony is nowhere close to the size of this), comparable amenities (except for conference rooms) though they dont look close to as swanky and has a salon too. Also Laburnum has better ceiling height. But one thing they did not show about Magnolias is the servant's quarters which was a mini-flat with two small bedrooms, a sitting area and a kitchenette- which blew my mind. Great for giving decent living spaces to multiple house helps. Am comparing with Laburnum because of location and familiarity - am sure there are other apartment complexes which would compete even more effectively with Magnolias.

May I offer a suggestion for consideration? It would be most enlightening to ascertain the relative aspects of this situation. Should the tenants be willing to disclose the approximate proportion of their household net income allocated to rent, it could prove insightful. Whether it amounts to 10%, 25%, or even 40%, such revelations would undoubtedly shed light on the financial dynamics at play.

Hi Vishal, Please clarify that whether the tenant himself is paying the rent or his company paying for it ? as a lot of the people are getting confused over here.

Even if we consider that the rent is being paid by the company, the amount then becomes part of the CTC reducing his take home by that amount.
So the rent is being actually paid by him whatever be the case.

He needs to take a break and concentrate on his health, looks weak and tired. Of course easier said than done when you have two kids to support and a lifestyle level.

Can’t justify throwing away almost 1 crore on renting house and car.. can easily buy a nice house and car for that money. What if he wanted to come back again? He’ll rent for 2 crores again?!

If you care to visit Dubai and checkout my apartment in an upscale family oriented community, I’d be more than happy to give a tour. One gets a better value for money relative to this one though. Rest it’s all subjective and relative.
