After the Chinese invasion of Tibet, Tibetans fleeing Chinese persecution brought skills and crafts to India. Kalimpong, a small town nestled on hills of Himalaya near the Sikkim Tibet border became a refuge for many Tibetans to start their business in exile. We sat down with Palden from to talk about his small Khatak (white scarf) and Phing (glass noodle) factory.
