I miss the original band members, such a good vibe here. When we grow old in life there some time periods we never forget and the late 90s early 2000s are part of my life forever.
@@Syclone0044 I've actually been trying to figure this out right now lol it looks like he's slapping the B string open and 10th fret with some heavy fx (maybe chorus and distortion) but it sounds a bit different live here than on the album. On the album, I hear a bit of strumming in addition to the slap. Gonna give it a try and see what happens 🤔 edit: after listening to it and playing it a lot, I don't think there is any strumming on the record version like I originally did. I think it's just the B string being slapped, but with pretty heavy fx, so it sounds really thick.
DonNoDraper most of them are still in music Ryan the guitarist is still in the business, Amir derakh is still in the business, the only two that i don't what happened to are Paige Haley, & Bobby Hewlett the drummer.
i basically did dress like jay, my ex says she sees a lot of his fashion influence in my current aesthetic so he was definitely a big influence on me back
had drinks with these dudes after the show in Rochester they wanted us to stick around but we had a hour drive back to buffalo ny where this show should have taken place! they picked some strange city's and venue for this tour still great show great night I will never forgot the crowds reaction to ramstein people were horrified!!
Kustom Hooligans yeah we came just as orgy came on stage had no idea who incubus was at the time so did not care to see them as the first band on stage we left Buffalo NY around 4:30 got to Rochester around 5:30 spent almost another hour looking for mixers for our wild turkey except downtown Rochester is a ghost town after 4pm not many people in attendance for this show and Rochester was the first date on the tour we were able to walk right to the front of the stage for all of the band's I have been to millions of concerts since this show but this is still one of my all time best concerts ever !! anyways greetings from the best city in the world Buffalo NY
I am from Buffalo i seen them at the old sideshow in Lackawanna i think in 99.. Was a great show i miss that place... It's a fucking wedding venue now..
Interesante oir la mezcla directa del show, no la remasterización del video oficial. Incluso hay una guitarra desafinada en el puente. Y las tomas son diferentes. Interesting to head the main sound of the live show, not the remaster of the live video family values, also theres a guitar out of tune in the brigde. The video takes are diferent to. Gran material!!
So they used this footage for the Family Values DVD but dubbed it with different audio? Because this performance is way worse than what you hear on the DVD.
Here in 2019 and just want to say how fucking dreadful this performance sounds. Even the crowd looks disappointed and tired. I'm pretty sure that the only reason they even cheered at all was bc the music was over.
@@alanv_7815 Honestly, it's difficult to argue that the live mix doesn't suck. Crazy off balanced, and they could've compressed the vox track a little more hearing how all over the place his vocal levels are. I'd have to say at this point, even though I was never able to catch a live performance from this band, Orgy didn't seem to exhibit traits indicative of a band really capable of delivering a polished, tight, and consistent live performance, which was a shame because I personally can't help but partly associate their entire vibe, futuristic aesthetic, and overall 'NuWave' Metal conventions with the same sharp, pixel-perfect precision that all their haircuts seem to inhabit. From what I've seen, their live shows always seemed to be lacking and ridden with mistakes. That band had so much potential, but they just seemed to come up short when concerning delivering consistent and quality songs...
There was numerous artists playing in such a small window, they were enjoying each others shows, partying like fuck & enjoying being part of something that big for that particular time in their careers. You're a sad prick.

The Bass is the Underrated part of the song and I love it
Yeah man that mid to late 90s bass is always badass
I wanna know what he was playing at 3:35 and so!! Wish I could hear isolated bass track

Katie Evans doesn't Bobby work in the porno industry cuz Ik his wife is a porno star.
Julien-K is basically Orgy. They don't have bass player and Jay wants to do Orgy now.
@@Seriona1 I can play bass. This is my big break!
i love the intro its so sick
Fuck yeah!✊
They should of put it on the candyass album 😕
What's the name of it?
Jay Gordon deserves everything his voice is like liquid gold
Underrated band
When I was a kid I wanted to dress like Jay Gordon but with a Jonathan Davis voice!!
i basically did dress like jay, my ex says she sees a lot of his fashion influence in my current aesthetic so he was definitely a big influence on me back
Sounds like Lestat in queen of the damned
Great song/album
This live version is fucking awesome 🙌🏽
I remember having this vhs haha
Same here. From Australia. It was an incredible video and these guys were incredible. I love the intro “in your mind.”

Ya, Rammstein came outta nowhere and played right before Limp Bizkit on this tour. I remember Buch Dick?, people freaked the fuck out hahaha

Orgy are awesome band from the 90's
This show was off the hook. Orgy was great
The New Orgy has a sick drummer. This guy killed it with energy and his look.
The day after my 19th birthday. God I really really miss these days
One of t those bands I never really respected till I got older and check them out....
That crowd looks way too dead for how awesome this band and show is!!

Gran material!!
Mid to late 90s had a cool take on "futurism". The industrial-like vibe. Was in a lot of stuff, but Orgy captured part of it well in music.
This music reminds me of trying to score ecstacy on a Friday night after school 😂
Make sure you bring your glow in the dark pacifier.
😂😂😂😂😂
GOD! Jay Gordon is one hot son of a bitch, even to this day!
+Silver Champagne geete away from me biotch !

Orgy best band ever !!!!
This was performed the exact day and year I was fuckin born
Bless
Cool I dig this
absolutely dope!
Great band
After so many years I just realized Orgy resembles Hellraiser with the turned head motion, makeup, clothing and music. ❤
Is it me or the beat is a little faster? 😂🖤
I'm straight but that singer makes me reconsider
Lmao he was so fine 😂
Hot
Lmao, agreed, that happened to me as well with Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) and Roger Taylor (member of Queen)
I was there. Did not sound terrible!
Memorables años 90s.
спасибо ютуб, что порекомендовал это
Lol, those effects make their guitars sound like whales.
These are the band member's I grew up with.
some people need to realize that live versions won’t sound like the version on the album :/
@Arturo Gonzales tbh i agree
I agree they should of put these on candyass. Much better.
I like the weird guitars and stepped up drum beat.
Fucking Beautiful
Heck yes
So fucking awesome!
what guitars are those? they look custom cut specifically for this band. So dope
Was this the Family Values Tour?
Yes 1998
Back when numetal ruled the world...better times.
@@Based_Stuhlinger agreed..
I wish those days returned but thankfully it should with the resurgence of 1990s-2000s era stuff
Almost all here are over 35
Had to become laden🌸
Is that intro in the original track I keep looking for it
Cesar Herrera I believe it’s from a song called “in your mind”
Is it from an album i cant find it in spotify
What is the introduction to this song? I know the song says stitches?
It's titled In Your Mind, this is the only time I've ever heard it though.
Jay
For an opening band they’re taking a long time to star their hit single
So they used this footage for the Family Values DVD but dubbed it with different audio? Because this performance is way worse than what you hear on the DVD.
does anyone know what guitar effects spiky blonde is using?
Flanger, Chorus, Delay, Fuzz pedal, etc
Someone knows what model is the black guitar??????
I cant remember the name, its made by a guy who does all carbon fiber bodies. Search Carbon Fiber Guitars, that may bring it up
It's a Roland G-707.
Jackson Roswell Star, Amir's custom model.
