Sainath says it is unfortunate that there had been no official recognition of India’s last surviving - and unsung - freedom fighters nor indeed any attempt to explain to the current generation the kind of destruction wrought on the country by two centuries of British colonial rule.

My father was freedom fighter. How much he suffered only we childred recognize only two times in a year in his entire life i.e 15th August and 26th January, A different kind of spark on his eyes on that day. We celeberate more than a festival.He was invited for flag hosting ceremony at all institutions. Once i queationed why you are not awarded a certifate of honour? His reply was "My Country GOT FREEDOM that is honour for my entire country, a piece of papper is not matter for me." And today some people asking to prove our patriotism. Guess..why?? I am Muslim. Since chilhood till date we are hosting flag at home and celeberate more than a festival from bottom of our heart. Jai hind.

जैनपुर ज़िले के खुटहन चौराहे पर नेताजी सुभाष चन्द्र बोस की प्रतिमा शाहिद स्मारक के रूप में लगी थी। और वर्षों वहाँ थी। इसी स्मारक पर एक स्मृति पट्टिका थी जिस पर वहाँ के मुख्य स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों के नाम खुदे थे। ये वे सेनानी थे जो जेल भी गए थे। अब उसे हटा दिया गया है। यह कौन सा सम्मान है?
