Thank you!
Love your channel and those designs turned out beautifully!! I just purchased my first laser (Omtech 100W) literally 2 hours ago and I’m super excited to start my journey into this world. I was looking to pick up a laser later on more capable of metal engraving like this and the F1 is definitely now in the running as well after this video.
Thanks for the kind words! Awesome that you are just starting out!
Thanks for showing ways we can use our laser at a craft show.
Sure thing! Glad you found it helpful!

Craft show thank you
Thank you Sarah!
Craft Show. Nice informative video. Do you prepare your coasters with paint or some other product before engraving? Do you sand your coasters before engraving? Do you put a sealer on your coasters - if so what do you use.
Thank you! The only thing we have used for slate coasters is Clark’s Stone Wax. We would apply this before engraving and wipe any excess wax off.
Both I want the free files and the craft show check list
Craft show!
Not a cheap device compared to what similar laser engravers cost, but the portability is definitely a plus
what settings did you start out with. I need a place to start, thanks
Blue Light
Power - 100%
Speed - 400
LPcm - 300
I will try adjusting it next time and possibly lower the speed or increase lpc
I have a fiber laser in order but I need a portable one like this one.
So convenient!
I'm curious why aren't you using the automatic fume extraction option? Thanks for a great video though!
Thanks! We just started using the machine and didn’t have it set to auto.
@@85thandPine Ahhh, that makes sense. It's an awesome machine and feature. But of course now I have to wonder about the new Ultra F1. Sigh lol. Thanks again for a wonderful video!

Can you share your settings
Sure! I wasn't 100% happy with the settings but here's where I started:
Blue Light
Power - 100%
Speed - 400
LPcm - 300
I will try adjusting it next time and possibly lower the speed or increase lpc.
great video, thank you. craftshow
What are your settings for the Stanley?
I used 100 power, 400 speed and 300 lpc. But I wasn’t 100% pleased. I will try adjusting it next time and possibly lower the speed or increase lpc. I’ve also heard going over it with infrared pass cleans it up.
