Upto now, thought I was the only person with this problem, but now I feel a bit relaxed knowing that I'm not the only one here
I suffer for that condition but it never affected my performance at sports, the only issue is avoiding getting hit on the chest.

I just went to the doctors and found out I have this. Now I have to wear a brace for 20+ hours. If any other people have it, you aren’t alone and don’t let appearance get to you

I had that as a child and this peditricion said it was a symptom of heart defect a hole he sent to pediatric cardiologist and said that my heart was normal and my pidgeon chest diformaty corrected itself and by the time I was teenager my chest was normal

I have to wear my brace for 3 months. It's very uncomfortable and it hurts at the end of the day, but i can already tell that it is working. Hopefully this will help us solve the problem for my breathing too. It is really hard to do all of my daily things because I have a hard time breathing. Sometimes I would wake up in the middle of the night just because I can't breath. I am really hoping that this will help me out.
Do not wear it during the day. Just do it at night. be carful man don’t wear it to tight even if you think it’s working because I think I over corrected mine

I've gotten this surgery done when I was 16 from CHOP, when I tell you the pain is brutal , I mean it's brutal! You can't cough, sneeze, shit, piss, move, without sever pain for multiple months. Results were amazing, everything after 6months is gravy. 10th grade surgery done after football season, had to miss the following season, but after that just like normal.
@@ash3nsin784 the looks of it turned out amazing... The feel of it is weird because you think its never gunna go away , after about a full year maybe a little more is when I felt confortable enough to get back into sports. 6-7 months is basically how long it took for major pains and annoyances to go away but it stays uncomfortable for a while but it will go away, give it another few months 3-6 you'll notice a major difference , you had the surgery like mine where they go in an break the sternum and remove tissue cartilage I assume , takes a good while to let that heal up right
@@ash3nsin784 the pain will fade slowly, as far as the look of it , I'm not to sure .. Mine looked about 90% nornal after it, a slight slight bone shape differenxe but nothing at all noticable visually. Not sure how it couldn't have helped, if they removed the cartilage then replaced the sternum I can only wonder if its still just to swollen to notice or possible a different method was used not totally sure why it doesnt look normal yet

@@aniyjahw435 Same! And my ribs are a bit wider than most peoples since I was a kid. I actually found a bra from Victoria Secret that works since the middle part is lower than most but I just can’t lay or move in a certain position.

Ahmad it went great. I’ve got a vertical scar on my chest but it’s only about 1 and a half inch long and will fade. The whole procedure was extremely painful after but it gets better and better. I live in the uk and so I got it done free through the NHS

@@bretthall3775 im sorry for the late response I’m not sure how I missed this but no I had a brace that I wore for half a year to bed that corrected my chest amazingly. The brace is a good option unless your bones have hardened a bit. (See more details in other reply) I remember they checked if my chest was still “pliable” by pushing on my sternum the pointy part sticking out and my back. Mine moved a bit so it wasent hardened I also was 14-15 so you might idk the case for you my friend.
