well the tourists are getting mixed signals,if the guards allow them to touch and don't say anything,they will continue,someone in charge should give these guards training or tell them the rules,otherwise it will continue
The guards have discretion on who will be able to touch the horse and who will not. This inconsistency will raise questions with the visitors. Why can they touch the horse and not me? The police says one thing vs what the guard permits. Utter confusion sending mixed messages.

Why doesn't the trooper open his mouth and SAY something? Once one person strokes the horse, everyone else follows suit because they think it's okay.
Because the guard has the final discretion on who he allows to touch the horse despite what the sign says. The guard also has the discretion on who will not be allowed to touch the horse. Ultimately this will cause confusion with the visitors. Why does he have the right to touch the horse and I don't? So since the final decision belongs to the guard we recognize the inconsistency. So those of us who watch these videos should calm down. It is their horses, and if they don't care, why should we waste our time being frustrated about the visitors touching the horses?

Once more, the guard says nothing, so it takes no time at all for the tourists to crowd up to the horse and feel completely free to paw at it. I take it the women at the end did not speak English, because the third one just wanted the police to get out of the way of her photo. The talking and gesturing went right over her head.

The guard would have to shout at the tourists constantly, and many of the tourists would find it amusing to be shouted at.
There are many clips where the tourists are laughing in the face of the guard when they are being shouted at. Probably a depressing experience for the guard, so it might be better to be quiet.
Guard needs to be reported on because he is making it easy for people to touch the horse and does not stop people from touching.
I agree 100%! I'm in the USA and sent my son to Europe a few yrs for class trip. While visiting London, I told him the importance of respecting the Royal Guards. We're a military family and it sickens me how soo many treat them like they're attractions. They are serving their Country and deserve the utmost respect...and this guard SHOULD be making sure to NOT allow what is happening. It absolutely stresses out the horses...I'm sure that's why they bite and get uneasy at times.
When the signs were first placed there, the Guards were not supposed to say or do anything. It is now 3 weeks later. And things have changed. Guards are allowed to tell the public off, if touching the horses.

Right that guard needs to be taken off sentry duties and replaced with someone who will enforce the rules. She only moved when the reins were grabbed but not once with the countless of people touching the horse. How are the tourists meant to respect the rules when the soldier doesn’t enforce them? People should be kept out of arms reach of the horses. The horses do not like having all these strangers crunching in on their space. Allowing strange people to constantly get so close with their odd behavior is what keeps the horses under such high stress.

This horse is very friendly and likes to touch the tourists so people will touch, The gaurd dose try and keep the horse from touching but s hard when the horse is friendly.

Uz dva upozorenja još bi i čuvari trebali vikati i policija dežurat. To zombi ponašanje turista je čisto hipnotičko ponašanje. Kada im se reče oni kao da se trgnu i probude pa tek onda pogledaju upozorenje.Neki čuvari i dalje viknu ovi novi se boje.
