Niall kept on saying sorry. he really does appreciate and value all of his team singers and the others too, he is so precious.
Soo sweet. He understands how it feels to b in that position they are.
I love Niall. He looks like a little kid in that chair, and he cares so much about his artists.
I preferred Laura in the blinds but here Ross shines. This always goes to show one song is not enough to highlight what all these artists have to offer. Wish we could hear more from them before they leave the show.
Yeah, they should get at least two shots at staying in.
I must say Niall is surprisingly good with his song choices and who to put through. I have a good feeling he may go all the way.

I loved Laura's audition, maybe this song just catered more to Ross's voice and that's why he shined over her, it sucks tho cause she definitely has something special and I really felt with her audition that she'd make it further than the first round, I know the coaches have a tough job but they promise these people they'll make it to the finals and then drop them in the first round, it's rough.
Loved Laura's audition. I agree this song didn't suit her voice quite as much.
That just furthers my argument that battle rounds sucks gets rid of potential good ARTISTS bc they can only sing 1 song between 2 artists

Her pitch was slightly under most of the performance when she was on her own, if she would have been in a slightly higher register she would have been way better. The higher stuff she was on point. Ross was great through the whole song it def catered to his voice more. Song choice really makes everything.

This song definitely catered to Ross's strong, piercing voice more. Laura's quick vibrato was what kept her "in it" I think--it gave the wavy effect of an electric guitar.

no!! I was such a fan of Laura's voice. I think it was just a case of song choice - it really catered to Ross more (who did fantastic), but it felt a little unfair for Laura to be against him with this song. Either way, looking forward to hearing Laura's music on Spotify very soon!
