Yes you can, but you won't be getting 5.1 surround sound.
You can. Just need 3 pieces of RCA to 3.5mm jack connect it at DVD(5.1) piece of cake :)
Using bluetooth dongle is fine but with that RCA to 3.5mm jack you have the freedom to use the motherboard EQ so you can have the best mix :)

@@aakashthaker no, one end has white and red RCA jacks (right and left) which you plug in the stereo ports of the speaker; the other end has 3.5mm AUX jack which you plug in the headphone port of your pc.

Hey there, great video, just a small correction though. You can change the volume of the Sub using the remote, the manual says pressing ‘channel level’ on the remote allows you to cycle through each speaker one by one and adjust its volume independently from the other speakers. So pressing ‘channel level’ until the letter S appears on the screen let’s you adjust the sub level. It’s not ideal but gives you a little bit of adjustment

Hello, if you connect it to the pc, using the jacks 3.5mm for 5.1, can you switch between 2.1 and 5.1 matrix mode? on the Z506, you had to physically unplug the other 2 jacks to enable it.

Then scroll almost all the way to the bottom. The link will be labeled as "Looking for support for this product? Get support" and takes you to their page with their getting started PDF. I find the sound to be rather, well hollow is how I would describe it. Seem's to lack base where it is needed. They seem to be slightly tinny sounding. I am using the RCA out put to make use of the 5.1.

i don't get what people expect to get for that prices since it is a 5.1 set i am honnestly very pleasantly suprised that they released these this was something i have been wanting for a while all the specs it has goes right up my alley. bluetooth. Sd Card. being able to connect it to any machine with bluetooth pc 160 watts isen't much but most people aren't able to notice the diff between more and less watts since i have a 60 watt speaker and it sounds like your on a party when u turn them all the way up.

And how does the surroud sound works with RCA or 3.5mm when they can transmit only stereo. In my understanding all five speakers would sound the same so its not really a 5.1 surround sound?
I connected them with bluetooth - through an USB adapter - and the quality improved. However, the satellite and front speakers sound pretty weak.

I find it silly when manufacturers put controls on the sub woofer coz I always have mine under the table or hidden away somewhere. How does this compare to the Z506? Because I swear by those speakers! On my second set after I blew my first sub.
Dru TheDJ Yeah, a bit strange but you do have a controller. As for the comparison with the Z506, I haven’t had them for testing so can’t say anything. Sorry about that.

Nobody noticed yet that when you connect PC to this speaker , it is taking only stereo pin from pc and splitting it in to aux signal for left and right. So output sound is not a real 5.1 surround sound because just stereo from front speakers are copied to back and center speakers. Logitech released this speakers just to compete with F&D speakers.

my motherboard supports 5.1. But when I enable it the subwoofer stops working. It works only at 2.1 🙄🤔

Unless you have an amp additionally to connect to and get 5.1, then there are better solutions.

I scrolled the Q and A below and most of the answer this guy giving is "I don't know or I don't remember". Someone asking does this set having bass adjuster and he replied he forgot. I dont believe he forget. Looks alike he helping the seller to sell the item . More questions than answers here.

Hmm, might say to RMA them. Not sure what could it be. Maybe reset all the sound settings, but then again I don't know if you have some other stuff sorted in your volume mixer and similar things.
check the 3.5mm jacks ..turn off the system and take out the jack and put it back in properly ..this happened to my z906 as well but turning the 3.5mm jacks can change the levels because its not in properly
The Webmazon brother you have to use 5.1 sound card or 1 male to 3 female aux

Sureound is only activated with an amplifier. In other words, if you connect it like this, they all play at the same time.
Old Logitechs are more cooler and crazier, like Z5500 back in the 2000s

@@dezolawins9500 Reading up on loads of comments on Reddit, people are actually returning them because of it. To be honest, if I knew that I would mention that in the video. Maybe if you can, return these ones and grab Z906. Those ones are epic!
There's a couple of weird design decisions with this set imo. Like, why on earth is the center speaker the same shape as the other speakers? People often mount a center speaker above or below a monitor or TV.
Secondly, the display is cool and all but why on earth place in on the sub when that's usually placed under the computer desk or on the floor out of the way of the TV or whatever you use it for?
For the price it seems like a pretty good option though but those things really confuse me when compared to other Logitech systems.
Gnawer Shreth Actually, thinking about your criticism, I do agree with you. Center speaker should be horizontal and the display... Well, I think the didn’t have space on speaker so they placed it on the sub.

How did you connect this to your PC? I have a MSI z370 gaming plus motherboard, so I can either use the AUX (thats not really 5.1) or use the DVD inputs. Since I need a 2-1 RCA cable and not a 2-2 RCA cable (that came with the set), I bought them extra so I could connect to my pc.
The 2-1 cables were fine for the front and rear, but the sub and center has a black color instead of a the red/white. How did you connect that?
Klaasjeturk Well I connected all the speakers to the sub and the the AUX cable from the sub to 3.5mm jack on the computer. I didn’t have the time to do some extra testings on the surround sound since I had to return it quickly.
@@PCCrazyDario one interesting this is, if I use AUX on yt, the rearspeakers get filled sound from. If I use RCA mode on yt with 5.1, the rear and center wont get filled.

Klaasjeturk I think RCA usually doesn’t transmit proper 5.1 channel sound. At least, I wasn’t able to achieve the proper 5.1 even on Z906. 😬
@@PCCrazyDario Ye I figured that with AUX, the sound gets filled to the rear but not with RCA. If the audio/video is true 5.1 then you can hear with RCA a big difference than with AUX.

Hi, nice video! My pc screen has already installed speakers which I won't use. Are these speakers antimagnetic? I'm worried they may interfere with the screen speakers making this high tune annoying sound and won't be able to listen to music.
Logitech has been selling speakers for so long and have been around for so long that.. of course their speakers are not antimagnetic. I mean their aim nb.1 as a company is to destroy people's screens. Right ?

You get 3.5mm jack. I think that should work fine if a TV has that jack.

Jadi dari PS4 keluar via HDMI, masuk ke decoder, trus di decodernya ada hdmi out untuk sinyal video dan colokan analog 5.1, tapi masalahnya sering tiba tiba blue screen, mungkin kabel hdmi yang ke decoderjelek.
Why does the subwoofer sound work great in 2.1 instead of 5.1 Logitech z607?
Unfortunately, that is a question I don’t have an answer for. That is a question more for the Logitech itself.

By placing the 5 sub woofers around the room will you acheive surround sound system? Or is it best to clump it up with the big speaker? The key is in the name 'surround'
It's a pretty old video so I hope you can still answer that. I have an ASUS TUF X299 Mark2. On the rear of the Mother Board, I have only : 1/ REAR (3.5mm > 2 RCA for RR and RL), 2/ LINE OUT (3.5mm > 2 RCA for FR and FL), 3/ Sub (3.5mm for subwoofer but I don't have to plug anything in there it seems as the sub Z607 works fine already ?).
BUT, I don't see any way to plug the Center speaker supposed to be used for more high pitch sounds like voices.
Could you please advise !

Tomasz Łomiński Yeah, of course. There is always difference when it comes to 2.1 and 5.1. But you know that and I don’t have to explain. 5.1 sureound vs 2.1 is a complete different story, but now I am giving you the comparison with 2.1 on these speakers and 5.1 also on Z607. Basically, you are just using less speakers and you don’t have a surround which kind of sucks. Always recommend 5.1 if someone has the space in the room and money.

Clemmo No, I didn’t get rid of them. I just had to return them to Logitech. That is all. You could connect them to your TV but not sure with what connection would it be best. Not sure for the sub adjustment to be honest. There should be an option for bass and treble.
Have the satellites got larger drivers than the 2" speakers from the Z506 ?

WooHoo Honestly, I have no clue about that. But on the side note, I have Z906 that do the same thing and I haven’t had an issue turning it on with a press on the power button. It’s not like you playing a audio clip each 20 minutes for one second, but ok, I can understand what are you aiming at. Unfortunately, no. I haven’t found an option for that.

It is stereo. You have to connect the speakers individually as it shows on the back of the subwoofer to achieve 5.1.
I just can't get 5.1 surround working with my pc. Yeah I have only 3 jacks on my motherboard but they should support 5.1. But if I connect only the front left and right, back or sub and center, then there's no sound coming out of any speakers

@@PCCrazyDario Me too...Eastern US origin...Logitech offered Z606's for a warranty replacement bc they had no Z537's in Canada yet they were available stateside. Then it shipped Z607's with a proviso..."same as 606's but instructions are in Latin"

Hi, to be honest, you can't actually transfer bass strength unless you have extreme high quality microphone. The bass is good, but it can be better. After all, we are talking about budget 5.1 speakers. But taking into consideration Z506, I think the Z607 has more options when talking about connectivity. Bass, I would say similar.

@@roryveltman8461 Unfortunately, I haven't found an option where you can switch of the display on the subwoofer. :( If you shut it off and if there was an option, then you wouldn't see the connection type you are using.
