Complete Mt.Haleakala Sunrise & Bike Tour 2016 Maui, Hawaii

This is a video of the downhill bike ride tour which is offered after the morning sunrise at the top of the mountain. Due to new commercial tour regulations you cannot begin the bike ride at the top of mountain (10,000)ft due to the extreme weather at times. They only allow you to start at approx 7,000ft unless you bring your own bike.

Daniel N Yes I am looking for virtual rides for using while on my stationary bike. Currently can't walk far without pain, my cardiologist said a stationary bike would be great, but boring just riding indoors, great to have wonderful scenery! Thanks!

This was what I was paid to do on Maui in 1990. I drove the van, picking up the tourists at their hotels, taking them to the top of the mountain before the sun came up and followed them down while they rode the bicycles.
We would stop periodically for photos, lunch, etc.
Then at sea level in Paia, we would pack the bikes back up in a trailer, take them to the base yard, giving them opportunities to buy souvenirs, drop the trailer and give them a ride back to their hotels.
I got paid to do that. Can you believe that?

My favorite thing to do when I was on Maui, well except for the camera battery eating cold air. brrrr I had done this even while rehabbing some pretty major ankle surgery. It was a while after it but I was still recovering. Actually I'm 'still' recovering all be it in the wrong direction
